The food is excellent. A good range for meat eaters or vegetarians. The small plate options are not so small so the 3 for 16 quid odds is a good deal and you get to try a range of things. The service is good and a nice atmosphere if a little noisy as the sound bounces of the walls and ceiling. It's still up there as one of my favourite eating places though!

My first visit to downend and also being on my own and a bit nervous walking in alone and straight away made welcome and shown to a booth which was clean and comfy with power sockets should I have needed my phone or laptop charged.
Plenty of Gluten free and dietary options on the menu.
Food was quick but not rushed, I had the large breakfast (without mushrooms) (see picture) and it tasted great and was slightly more than I could eat.

Lovely food and staff, who were very accommodating to be able to fit us in. We had booked for 4, but there were 5 of us on the day.
Food was enjoyedby everyone.
Unfortunately for us though, we felt the music was too loud to be able to hold a conversation.

Fantastic place! Went on a buzzy early Friday evening. Very popular and although busy, was not overcrowded and the service was quick, friendly and attentive throughout. Drinks and food arrived so quickly after ordering. Piping hot , tasty and generous portions. I had the chicken caesar salad, which was really packed with fresh chicken and additional avocado , a side of sweet potato fries were great but not needed given the size of the salad. My friend had three plates with fries and was similarly full. I highly recommend - heard the breakfast is amazing too so we'll be going back to try it out!

The food was delicious - had a sandwich which comes with fries and salad/coleslaw. Really fresh bread and tasty generous filling.
The only downside is the service is very slow - possibly because there's not enough staff.
