They seem to have a much better selection of ice creams than I remember... both the Bakewell Tart flavour and the MaltedTeaser flavour were both great, and a generous single scoop too. Hot drinks and home made cakes looked good and a few seats to sit out. Ideal on what's probably the last nice day of summer!
I highly recommend this place to anybody. My family have visited the place twice now, it's a great little shop that offers a wide selection of ice-cream flavours and its surroundings are picturesque. The gentleman who runs the shop told me that they open 10am - 5pm, seven days a week, except for rainy days (wish I could do that!). I have submitted the shop's opening hours to Google now, hopefully it'll update previously incorrect 11am-4pm.
Came across this village by accident on the way home. As the sun was shining we decided to stop and take a look around only to find this little ice cream shop. We got some delicious sandwiches and enjoyed the sunshine.
What a little gem of a shop, excellent service. Delicious ice cream generous helpings fantastic value for money! 3 cones for £6. Couldn't fault it I had my 3 grandchildren with me and it was lovely to go somewhere get them a treat and not feel ripped off. Amazing I will definitely be going back.
