Look through the window and it doesn't appear very inviting ... but go inside and you've got lovely, welcoming staff, plenty of choice for where to sit, a great beer selection, and delicious food. The Stateside Chicken with pulled pork on top was divine. Steak pie was also very tasty and the kids menu what you'd expect.

Generous amounts of food, especially the sharing nachos. The 10oz surf and turf with chunky chips was great, and the lasagne, green Thai curry, penne pasta all went down well too. Recommended!
It started to get busy on a Saturday and I suspect it goes down well with the locals too which is a good sign.
This is place is great had a decent menu to choose from all reasonably priced I opted for the toad in the hole I was warned they was big and oh my she wasn't wrong I did ny best to finish it all but was completely stuffed. So defo worth visiting food is all cooked as you order will defo be back

Chips is a must 😁 Really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere for all the family. Parking is also available around the back making access super easy.
It's a nice enough place, however, not very warm inside and the food is good. Portion sizes are a bit small for the cost and it took some time for food to come out. We had to ask. And when 1 of 3 meals was sent back, it took ages to get back. Only a couple of ales available. We wasn't told about the specials board until after our meal. The desserts were very nice though, so good that I had one.. would we go back, probably not.
One of our favourite places to come for food 😋 9 of us went last night, the pub was already busy. The staff are always very polite, chatty and they don't sop working!! Great team you have there. The food is always big in size and the majority of it is homemade. The menu is very vast loads to choose from and then they have an additional specials board so be prepared to change your mind several times. I have the chicken and mushroom supreme last night and it was lovely 😍
Called here on spec, they were very busy but the landlady found us a table and was happy to move a chair for me to be more comfortable. Good menu with plenty choice. We don't have huge appetites so we were very happy with the light bite options. Our meals were excellent, really delicious and more than sufficient. Just wish we had gone earlier in the week so we could go back. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived for the first time this evening for weekend beak away, spotted u guys with great review rate and you wasn't wrong, welcomed with a smile at the bar excellent customer experience. 😀 the food was awesome, all fresh and yummy. very stylish decor and great atmosphere. All the staff are very friendly always with a smile. I'd definitely come again. Thank you for tonights lovely meal. 😍
