We eat here quite often. Visited with a big group. We pre-ordered our food. The food was spot on! Everyone got what they ordered. It was all hot and tasty. Service was excellent!

Always great service, huge portions of lovely home cooked food. Good value.
A favourite venue for me. Highly recommended.

We visited for Sunday lunch, and we were very impressed by the size and quality of the meals. The pub also does a smaller size for children/pensioners, and even that is good. If you don't like a lot of gravy, make sure you ask for a pot on the side.

Great place, staff so welcoming and friendly (Two ladies, mother and daughter I think?) gave us various recommendations for takeout etc, really helpful.
The food here was great, I got the Dacre burger with chunky chips and the missus got the Greek wrap. Both really nice.
My burger was huge with pulled pork on top, I finished it just… could have done with a lie down after it 😂.
Would definitely recommend this place if your this way on 👍🏻👍🏻

3 had steak and ale pie and gave it a big thumbs up. I had the Sunday roast with 2 huge slices of turkey with all the trimmings. My daughter had the vegan burger. Only 2 of us could manage a dessert and opted for apple crumble with custard and treacle sponge with custard which both came piping hot. Great choice of beers. Staff were brilliant and made it such a pleasant afternoon. Thanks so much xx

The Dacre Arms is a nice village pub. There is an excellent selection of beers, larger and cider. Including three cask conditioned hand pulled real ales when I called in and a great newsome cask conditioned hand pulled lager. It is manly a food pub and very popular. Always busy booking is essential To avoid disappointment.

Amazing food big portions. Modernised since my last visit. Lovely and warm inside. Staff welcoming and attentive

Good pub food with a nice selection of Wold Top and Great News one beers on tap!
Generous amounts of food, especially the sharing nachos. The 10oz surf and turf with chunky chips was great, and the lasagne, green Thai curry, penne pasta all went down well too. Recommended!
It started to get busy on a Saturday and I suspect it goes down well with the locals too which is a good sign.

Look through the window and it doesn't appear very inviting ... but go inside and you've got lovely, welcoming staff, plenty of choice for where to sit, a great beer selection, and delicious food. The Stateside Chicken with pulled pork on top was divine. Steak pie was also very tasty and the kids menu what you'd expect.
