Brilliant bar maid, very helpful and friendly

Last time we called for lunch it was great. Looking forward to our bacon butties for lunch this time but they ran out of bacon for 2 butties, got a sausage instead. I would have thought someone could nip out for bacon until their order arrived. No draught bitter either as it had gone off. Not the best pub lunch visit this time.

Extremely clean throughout👍 Special compliments to the friendly, welcoming landlady. Doesn't do food meals but advised us that bought food from a local shop could be brought in the pub(Nice touch that😊).

We popped in here for lunch. The staff are lovely and friendly and it also welcomes dogs. We wondered what lunch would be like as we were the only customers on a Thursday lunchtime, but we were very pleasantly surprised. I had a ploughman's salad and it was not only beautifully presented,but full of fresh and tasty ingredients. My husband had nachos with spicy chicken and he was very impressed. Believe me, that's hard to achieve. Well done to the staff and thanks very much.

Driving to Scarborough for a hoilday we stopped off here it was absolutely 💯 % excellent we were made to feel at home had really good food and had my favourite wine staff were very polite and chatty if we ever find this place again will definitely be visiting thank you 😁

Absolutely brilliant. Called for the 1st time in a few years and the food was delicious. If you want a real treat try the chicken and chorizo skewers. They were lovely. My partner had the steak and ale pie and was similarly impressed. Well worth a trip to Driffield.

This place has now become our regular go to pub for Sunday Lunch. We stumbled across it by chance and are so glad we did! I can honestly say it's the nicest Roast Dinner I've ever tasted in my life, everything cooked to perfection and Yorkshire Pudding to die for 😋 The Pub is also spotlessly clean and the staff are great, really welcoming and friendly. Give it a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed

Made to feel very welcome, especially our dog who got a drink before us 😁😁😁, this was fantastic and was so nice to find a place who accepted dogs and also served up a fantastic meal and kept our drinks topped up. Hubby recommends the OMG burger. Staff very friendly, highly recommend. Thank you

Delicious food, we had scampi and the meat pie. With a starter of Nachos. All cooked to perfection and served by the most attentive lady. Despite being very busy she was all over it! We will definitely be going back!
