Reviews of The Fellows

We recently had our Son’s milestone birthday in the function room of The Fellows. It was a fantastic night and a brilliant choice of venue. Vicky the owner is a pleasure to meet, goes through everything step by step and offers a range of options to suit your budget. The resident DJ and Fellows staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us and they kept checking in with the birthday boy throughout the night to see if he was having a good time. The food was plentiful and delicious and the room decorations were amazing! Since the party I’ve had people message me to say how impressed they also were with The Fellows. I would definitely recommend. Thank you for such an awesome night.

Visited The Fellows restaurant for Sunday lunch today, as we do on most Sundays now. The recent refurbishment has done wonders for the place and it's extremely popular in both the bar and restaurant. The food is lovely. Plentiful, tasty and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Thea is a real credit to the place. Professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to visiting again very soon.

We had our wedding reception in Bar88, upstairs at The Fellows. From day 1 of meeting Vicky and the team, we felt welcome, comfortable and like we were being looked after and that our reception wasn't just a money making function for them. They cared, listened and met every request and exceeded all my ideas that I gave them. All our wedding guests had nothing but compliments regarding the room, the food, the decoration and the staff! Everything was perfect! The whole team worked so hard and we are very thankful.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. The food was good quality and plenty of it. We were offered more gravy too which we gratefully accepted. Plenty of well cooked, hot vegetables. The service was amazing. Thea and her team have mastered the right balance of not being in your face but always available when you need them. So pleasant and friendly but remaining professional. The overall ambiance was spot on. Lovely background music and luxurious surroundings. The wine was very palatable and not overly expensive. We will definitely be back. Fabulous dining experience. Just what Dudley needs. Thank you.

Great venue and excellent hosts. Vicky and her team looked after us from the initial enquiry, through the planning of the event, to the evening itself, with impeccable professionalism. We couldn’t fault anything about our special night, the venue, the food, the DJ and bar staff were all top draw. All our guests commented on what a wonderful evening it was. We will certainly be back and look to do further business in the future.
