The Woodman is a very friendly pub - one that’s welcoming and affordable. The interior has been refurbished and it looks lovely inside. The staff as always are welcoming and provide a great service. The food is tasty and never have to wait long for it. They have some great events ongoing, with bingo and rodeo night to name a few.
Haven’t been in this pub for 2 years, came in today completely changed inside and out, such a warm and cosy atmosphere now we had food and it was amazing will absolutely come again.
I was really disappointed with my visit to The Woodman Pub. The food was served completely cold, and the sausages were so mushy they might as well have been mashed potatoes. The mixed grill was honestly the worst I’ve ever had — everything …
Oh dear me! The only positive from our visit today was the pleasant demeanour of the bar staff. The food was dire, tasteless, thrown together, all shop bought from a pound shop, cold, and my partner literally left everything. Avoid at all cost.
Great pub, stopped for a meal/drink. Great atmosphere, super friendly and very helpful staff. They have defnitley achieved their aims of a "propper" pub.
Good location, good decor, good food and good value!
