I ordered mild salt and chilli pepper squid , and sweet and sour chicken balls in a tray but I asked if could change to king prawn balls which they did with no problems whatsoever.
Well what can I say the squid was perfect and just the right amount of salt and pepper and the chilli was just the right mild for me, the king prawn balls tray meal was also perfect ( yes I'm pregnant so eating for two 🙈) was perfect the batter on the prawn balls was exactly the right amount and the right amount of crispy as well, I've ordered from here before and all the food has been delicious but on this occasion the food has to be the best meal I've ever had from there .

My favourite place to go! Wish I could have food there everyday

I lived in Kate's hill for 11 years and this was our closest Chinese which we always used. Would call my order then pop up and fetch it as we lived 3 mins walk away. Food was always good and tasty and if we had visiters and ordered a Chinese they always enjoyed the food from Hong Kong express.
Moved 7 years ago and even though we live 4 miles away we still order (but have delivered) food from here. We tried a local Chinese once as Hong Kong express was closed and it tasted aweful in comparison.
After being a customer for over 15+ years I've never had cold food, the wrong order or a meal that has made me I'll or sick.
When I've called in and ordered by phone I've always had pleasant staff answer and do business with me.
My only fault I miss their free calenders we'd get every new year.

Food there is excellent and well crafted by the chefs there and you can easily order food wether by phone or at the counter I would recommend this place if you would like a Chinese
