The food is to die for especially the salt and pepper king prawns they are out of this world for best eating place in Dumbarton and a great atmosphere also, if anyone hasn’t bn it’s a must
A little gem of a restaurant! Food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful. Portion sizes are large. I had the salt and pepper chicken which was spicy and tasty. Others in our group had steak pie, chicken enchiladas and the tower burger. Everyone loved their food! There were no complaints. Puddings didn’t disappoint either! Be aware that the restaurant is only open on a Saturday and Sunday and you have a 2 hour table return time. Totally recommend it and looking forward to making a return visit.

Food was amazing! Great atmosphere and didn't have to wait too long. Will definitely be back to try the salt and pepper chicken.
Order macaroni cheese bacon salad was amazing.Great service and staff
Lovely food. Fabulous friendly serving staff. Husband had fish and chips, owner/chef made him fresh tartare sauce. Little gestures make big difference. Cheesecake home made, delicious. Take your own bottle makes big difference to bill.
Food and service were excellent and very fairly priced. Pleased to have a restaurant of this quality on the doorstep. Wife and son took me for a birthday treat and a treat it was. Nice touch to have the owner /head chef come out and converse with the customer and our children. We will be back for more 👍
Food is great. Owners and staff are lovely. Be aware though, because it's so popular, if you book a 6pm slot it's for 2 hours and no more. A lot of smaller restaurants do that though, so it wasn't a problem for us.
My daughter recommend grill on the bridge for a family get together meal ....2 course meal was £11-95 but when we got there we were charged £16-95 for a 2 course meal ..we was told that was for 8:people considering one was a child of 6 years old ...it shouldn't be any different no matter how many people was there ....as we all paid separate but the bill was made out in full ....the soup was nice and the steak pie which most of us had only let down was the chips ...if we was to go there again I would expect to pay £11-95 ...so be careful that there is not to many of you as you will get over charged ...
Excellent place to eat great choice of menus staff very helpful and attentive food is superb and portions are big
Visited with my wife for the first time on Saturday. We shared the garlicky mushrooms then both had the surf and turf fillet steak. The steak was simply sublime, great cut and done exactly as ordered. Very attentive and friendly staff, the owner Derek came out to talk to us as well, then we finished off with a lovely Ferrarocher cheese cake. Hopefully they will get their drinks license and card machine soon. Will definitely be back, great new restaurant in Dumbarton, just what's needed...
