I can’t fault the Usual Place, Beautiful surroundings in a converted church. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Our meals were excellent and the portions were generous and very reasonably priced. Well done to all staff, keep doing what you do, and be proud of yourselves.
Fantastic place provides training opportunities for differently abled people. Everyone was polite, efficient, food was delicious and good value. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Old church building beautifully renovated, warm and clean.
What a really lovely place. Found The Usual Place on Google before arriving in Dumfries and as it was less than 5 mins from station it was perfect. Great food (lentil soup and luxury hot chocolate), chilled space that is a brilliant venue for Dumfries. Thank you!

Food and drinks were amazing! The building is insanely beautiful. Service was really friendly and quick. Everyone was really sweet and inclusive! If you're in the area and looking for a place to eat this is a great place! Overall it's amazing and so inclusive!
