Get deliveries from this restaurant once a week, every week and have done for around 2 years! Always lovely service, never had a problem with food ever! We live across town from it and it usually turns up with the friendly delivery driver within half an hour , food is super hot and fresh! We tell anyone who asks to go here for a Chinese takeaway!

Amazing. Would recommend to anyone! I order the crispy shredded beef in honey and garlic sauce with noodles and a side of spare ribs in honey sauce to share and it is spot on every time without fail! They are super quick and the service is always outstanding!

I moved to Dumfries a year ago and have been desperately trying to find a decent Chinese that can cook crispy shredded beef the correct way! After a year of disappointment receiving soggy battered slimy 'crispy' shredded beef from various Chinese takeaways in Dumfries and just as I was beginning to accept the fact that I would just have to make the 200 mile round trip back home to collect my favourite dish, I found the new oriental! Not only is their crispy shredded beef amazing, I would actually go as far as saying it's the best I've ever had.
Do not even bother trying any other Chinese in Dumfries! I have tried most of them and the new oriental wins hands down!! I ordered crispy shredded beef in honey and garlic sauce with noodles and some prawn toast it was absolutely Amazing! I will now be a regular customer here!
The staff are friendly too and the place was clean and tidy !Iliterally can not recommended this place enough!!

Excellent food and friendly atmosphere. However, was very busy which led to some confusion over orders and a mix up in table priority, to some customers dismay. I enjoyed the extra time to chat with my partner and after my nice meal I left quite satisfied.
