Visited twice for lunch whilst on holiday. Food was tasty, serve staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

There was a mistake with our order that led to one of the dishes being delayed. However the staff quickly rectified the mistake and took the delayed dish off the final bill. Things go wrong but it's how you put things right that show good customer service so happy to give 5 stars for service. Food was also very good.

Been a few times now to Lockards and thoroughly satisfied every time. Last 2 occasions was without a booking but best to book at weekend as it gets busy. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, decent food with quite a choice from main menu. No complaints whatsoever

It's definitely now on my list of to go-to places. Steak was really delicious and was definitely worth a try! Julia was really nice and the food was served quickly. I appreciate the fact that they let me swap my chips to rice. Thanks a bunch! ♥️

First time visiting for a number of years and wasn't disappointed.
Very good choice of menu - something for everyone. Friendly staff - it's Dumfries - of course they are! Quick service for orders, drinks and food served hot.
Only little quibble is the fight passed the smokers/vapers at the main entrance who find it too much of a struggle to go to the appointed section. Not nice but happens in most establishments like this.
Will definitely not leave it so long to return.

My husband and I came for dinner because of the 30 % offer that was on .We had a starter and both had steaks can honestly say everything was delicious. The staff were lovely and attentive ( never got their names) It was really a lovely dining experience. Will definitely be back .Keep up the discounts

We brought our dog and when we arrived I was informed that I hadn't booked a dog table, we were however fitted in and were graciously treated. Our service was polite and courteous despite everyone being really busy. The food was delicious and we all really enjoyed it.

Great place to eat. Dog friendly - got their own dog menu, plus water bowls and treats for them. Really good idea, would love to see more places look after the furry visitors as well.
