Missed my bus and popped in for a tea and a scone, was really happy to find that it was only £3.80!
The scone came with a delightful rasperry jam and some lovely butter. The person who served me was very nice and the service was quick, next time I'm in Dumfried I'll be visiting again :)

This place felt like a really local breakfast spot. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had decent breakfast rolls, tea, and coffee. It was quiet on a Saturday morning.

Although we only had a bacon roll with tattie scone and a fried egg with tattie scone ...they were grand, however the two extra shot flat whites hit the spot ...kept us going for three bus journeys!
Plus, the couple who own the Piccolo were both friendly and helpful.
