Wishing Tree By The Sea

When we ordered we didn't realise there was an indoors cafe. The girls swapped our order from takeaway to plates with no fuss. The kiddies' box was a brilliant mix of colours, textures etc and looks lovely, served in tiny ramekins. The filled rolls were very nice too. It has a lovely bustling vibe that takes it to the next level. There were lots of young children (for those of you who want to avoid that kind of racket), our 2 year old was fascinated by the whole goings on. Every seaside town should have one of these

We had just parked on the road and were about to walk into the town for a coffee when we saw the cafe sign. Glad we did as we got a couple of cappuccinos plus really nice carrot cake muffin and banana loaf. Friendly service via hatch - due to Covid - and loads of picnic tables and a covered seating area outside. Beautiful flower borders full of bees and butterflies.

This was the first place we seen as we came into Dunbar. The wishing Tree. We Margie and I, made this our place to park the car. As we got out the car 🚗 we seen the park which was full with families with children to play around while their parents watched over them. Everyone looked nice and relaxed. So I managed to get a few photos plus a helicopter 🚁 hovering over the beach trail. While we were there we got a milk shake and a can of juice before moving on to the harbour across the road and going far a lovely walk around the town. I am sure if yous give this place a visit , you will not go wrong.
