Fantastic food and great staff and service. Excellent for either a family get-together or a night out with friends. Recent renovations have freshened-up the Anchor and now it's even better!

Great Thursday evening in The Anchor Bar for food and karaoke with 6 friends, who I had been on a golf outing with. Many thanks to all the barstaff for looking after us and to all the very good singers who performed on the night.Look forward to returning some time.

Came here a few years ago and had a nice meal, came again and the standard are still up there, each member of our company enjoyed their meal which is a rare occurrence, keep it up you are doing something right

Only been once but absolutely loved it.....food, service and atmosphere really great. Very traditional pub, it was so lovely to be in somewhere so busy and friendly.
