It's called Abandon Ship now. Food good, basic but tasty. Bigger inside, better music, perhaps a bit too loud. Apparently, it's an "American dive bar", whatever that means.

A wonderful place for having fresh made cocktails. The service is one of the best in town, we loved it. So, why 4*? For my taste the music was to loud and the selection of generes do not match with the vibe of the place. A cocktail place with top notch quality with amazing decoration and service but with loud electronic music? Well for my taste do not match at all, but besides that, if you like that kinda music and all of above then, Jam Jar is your 5* cocktail place in Dundee.

Nice bar and great cocktails. Visited between Christmas and New Year so was quite empty which made for a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff were lovely.

This place is lovely, the bartenders and waiting staff work really hard and every item on the menu is very tasty. The prices may seem high but they're very competitive considering the quality you get. Also the service is table based so no queuing at the bar. The layout is lavish and comfortable and they serve all manner of food and group bookings are possible. Would highly recommend for a date, Friday night with friends or celebrations.

Lovely atmosphere. DJ's always on par. Service is outstanding. Drinks are even better ;) Nothing but the best from the JamJar. Prices are expected. You get what you pay for, and i always tip. Speaks volumes.

Lovely setting and great quirky feel. Lovely to bring such a different place to Dundee. Great cocktails and cocktail knowledge from staff. And very reasonably priced.

Jam Jar was a place I never knew about, a relatively small and dark place providing a comfy selection of seating and a variety of drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful

Really cute atmosphere - almost like a shisha bar! The cocktails were a bit expensive £7-£10, but really cute and they tasted delicious. Also a plus, there's table service! Only downside is that it's a bit dark and I couldn't get a photo of my cute drink!
