Most enjoyable brunch with my family in pleasant and quiet surroundings. My family took me there for the start of my eightieth birthday celebrations. All enjoyed the food and service

Fab cafe, very busy. Gluten free food for me, soup and egg sarnie. Jacket spud for hubby. All fresh, and very tasty

The Sweetpea cafe is one of my favourite places to go to in Dundee. They have a good solid lunch and breakfast menu with a delightful mix of different traybakes every week that caters to those with allergies and dietry choices - something that my cold dead vegan heart appreciates. For example, I don't often have cheesecake these days but in one visit I had a lovely biscoff one and on the same day there was a delightful looking rocky road type traybake with marshmallows in the shape of flower petals :) on a more recent visit I had a delicious lime and coconut scone and a peppermint slice. The coffee is great, the staff are always utterly lovely and I can honestly say I've never had a bad or even average experience here. Don't expect to always be able to get a seat, the place is usually busy (for obvious reasons!) but there are 4 seats outside or you can get a takeaway.

This is a real good café with outstanding service and food to match. If you're on holiday in the area it's a fab wee place for a coffee and a homemade cake.

This is a fantastic cafe in Broughty Ferry and well worth the visit. Just along the main street it’s so good. The cakes (wide selection of g/f and vegan) are amazing! Never disappoints. Good coffee, great staff very friendly.

Friendly and very popular cafe in the heart of Broughty ferry. Great vegan options for both lunch and cakes. Great coffee too.

I’ve came to sweet pea cafe many times and ik its not a Michelin star restaurant but for what it’s worth I definitely think it deserves 5 stars because the waitresses are very kind, the food preparation is very fast, I think you get a large sized portion for a woman, in fact I had to take some of my food home and they were very nice and gave me a takeaway box to put my food inside, the toilet is unisex which is my only downside although it’s small and quiet so they couldn’t do much about it, the food is pretty fresh to me and very cheap, all meals are under a tenner and come with a nice salad with good dressing as well as a bowl of crisps, you should come here if you want a nice brunch meal and to not spend a lot of money
