Another week. Another chip shop review! Yay!
Glenn's in Broughty Ferry this time. We're keeping it local this week.
What's on the menu?
Single steak pie and fritters for the boyf and a fish supper and mushy peas for me.
Phoned for collection and was told pick up in 20mins. Boyf got there and it was another 15-20mins till he receivied our order.
Didn't really bother us cause you know the food is good.
Oh. My. God. The fish was huge!!! The batter was nice and crispy. No soggy bits. And the chips were cooked to perfection. The fritters were a golden brown and batter lovely, crispy and light. Just like the fish. The mushy peas were proper mushy peas, salt and vinegar included in the peas. Which a few chips shops don't do.
The boyf's steak pie was fantastic. And ticked all the boxes.
With 2 x buttered rolls our meals came to £17. Well worth it.
Food very good as always and delivered on time all the time.Always delivered hot and great delivery service and staff.
Top class fish and chip shop. The best in the Ferry by far 👌🏻

Best chippy in broughty ferry. Food is fantastic. White pudding is first class
Tea was absolutely lovely. Golden crispy batter just the way it should be. My son who normally just has sausage suppers all the time asked me to taste the fish, needless to say he stole it.
Would definitely recommend to eat from here.
Ordered food tonight. Fish, Stornoway black pudding, sausage, small chips, and kids chicken nugget meal. Best chippy we have had in ages. Food was piping hot. Im not a big chippy fan as they are a bit greasy. It was excellent will be ordering it again for sure 😊👌
Tasty fish and chips at a reasonable price but the only fillets on menu are haddock... which is probably good for cod stocks in the North Sea and at least cod fish cakes are available. Note that cards are not accepted (the nearest cashpoint about 250 metres away at the corner of Brook St and Fort St). Friendly staff.
