Koyla Indian Restaurant

A return visit here, greeted by 2 luvly staff members, seated at window so great for people watching. We ordered a mixed start for two, a shashlik chicken tikka, a chicken tikka balti, rice, a cheese and garlic naan, a chapati and a bottle of pinot grigio. All our food was delicious, freshly made and well presented. We couldn't finish our food, so doggy bag home, which was thoroughly enjoyed the next day. Really njoyed our visit, will return :) :).

Went Saturday night. The place is quite big and there were only two other couples there so not much atmosphere. Staff were nice and efficient. Had the poppadoms and mixed chutney to start, abit stingy charging 95p per poppadom! Food was good, had chicken shashlick and chicken korma for main and soem cocktails. Food was all very good, decent size portions, abit on the expensive side. Would eat here again!

Arrived in good time and service was great. Ordered a starter and a few mains. Starter was a Chicken Puri with 3 different dips. Very delicious and fresh. Mains, one Koyla Special Biryani with everything in apart from Chicken, and a Lamb Tikka Chilli Balti with Garlic Naan. Very tasty. I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting Indian/Asian Cuisine.

Service was very good waiters were all quick in service. Starters for 4 were ok £18 for 2 small plates maybe a little small. Got a butter chicken and a Egyptian kebab and milai kebab. It was very nice especially the grilled kebabs. But the curry on the other hand was a little to sweet which ruined the taste a bit but overall was good. I would recommend.

My wife and i recently returned from a three day mini break to Dundee. we were unsure where to eat and seemed to stumble upon this amazing restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and modern, staff very attentive to our needs. Food was first class way above our expectations, fantastic choice as my wife does not eat meat. We enjoyed so much that we returned a second time and it was equally delicious. Please if you are in Dundee and looking for a fantastic indian meal please go along you will not be disappointed. 5/5.

Ate here on Saturday and it is the best Indian meal I have had in Dundee. We were a party of 4 and we were well looked after by the friendly staff. The mixed starter for 4 was superb with a lovely side salad and 3 sauces to try. We had various mains from the extensive menu and we all said that they were flavoursome. We cannot fault anything. Well worth a visit.
