What a great chippy, on holiday from Yorkshire so I know me chippies. Had Fish and Chips (with Salt and Sauce, got to up here) and it was spot on. Fish cooked well, right amount of batter, chips decent sized and tasty, most importantly a decent sized portion for a reet good price. Definitely worth a visit 😁👍

Good for fish and chips, although we alternate between DFB and another local one, this is decent. Also worth a mention is the pizza. It's really, really good. Proper Neapolitan style thin and crispy with what seems to be fresh dough and a very hot oven. I'd like some more choice of fancy toppings but it's a chippy rather than a pizza specialist so fair enough. Took us five plus years of living nearby to find a decent pizza but better late than never! Service is excellent too - but we collect rather than get delivery.

Good quality chippy in the best Scots Italian traditions! Fresh tasting chips, chippy sauce available, have had the fish there before which was good and meaty but with lovely light batter. Would recommend

The food was made fresh.cracking wee chippy . We got sausage suppers which was brilliant tbh . Can't fault it . Curry sauce has a sweet taste to it. It was ok Well worth visiting tho plenty on the menu to choose from

travelling back to edinburgh in my blackcab from a job in fife googled chippie about 930 pm dalgety fish bar I've had plenty fish suppers scotland an this is easily top 3 batter light perfectly cooked haddock melted in mouth full of flavour chips perfectly cooked takeaway spotless clean, good service 10/10

Very busy when I visited. Handled all orders in order of receipt, so even though I only ordered chips there was a 15 mins wait. But they were good chips and worth the wait.
