Went and was told they no longer serve food, but they suggested other places for us to eat. I'm sure it is great as a pub though, seemed full of regulars.
Our first Scottish pub experience.. and we loved it. We walked into what seemed to be a private party but were welcomed in. Like Davie (out new Scottish friend) said, "Edinburgh is for tourists, THIS is real Scotland"

It is certainly a different experience. And cheap. The dining room is cluttered with knick-knacks, all of which are covered in dust, the seats covered in crumbs and the whole place generally dirty. Food is tasty and portions generous, but not an inviting environment.
