Loved it. Actually extended our original reservation by 2 days.

Good burger, nice location.
Good staff, quite friendly.
Not the best price for burgers, apparently you pay for the appearance of the place bot for the taste. But it is fairly good

A lovely hotel near to the bus station.
Very welcoming and friendly. Everyone was really nice but Jade went above and beyond. Always smiling no matter how busy she was on reception and also serving food. Definitely managerial material.

I must this place is amazing. The 3 of us girls booked in for the night before a wedding. The staff went way beyond the call of duty. Nothing was too much trouble. They were really friendly and breakfast was so tasty. Highly recommend. Definitely be back x

This place is amazing! We all went for the Hot Rocks steak, brilliant concept and super value with a drink and side included. Food was delicious, cocktails were delicious and the staff were all delightful. Very attentive and nothing too much bother. We will def be back and would highly recommend.

Just back from our overnight stay and it was excellent. The staff were all so friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and a great range of cocktails to try. The room was quite small but had everything you needed for a short stay. All in all very good value for money.

Visited for dinner & had the infamous hot rocks steaks. Great food, nice place and lovely cocktails too!

This is a lovely historic hotel that offers a bar, restaurant and cafe for breakfast. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were great. They were helpful and friendly. The steaks at the restaurant were really good and cooking it yourself was a surprisingly fun activity. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The location is perfect for exploring town and is a short walk to shops, restaurants, the abbey and park. We overall had a great stay.

Dropped of relatives here as they are staying in the hotel whilst in town. We were allowed to leave their luggage as it was too soon to check in but we decided to have some lunch in the hotel restaurant.
Food was fantastic, plenty and reasonably inexpensive. A lunch for 5 plus drinks was £60. Great service, fresh food, cheerful staff. Would highly recommend a visit.
