What an amazing little fish and chip shop. Really friendly and helpful staff. We actually tried deep fried mars bar for the first time ! The guy recommended some salt and that made it even better. They did some very nice options as well and had some specials ! Well worth a visit with best customer service ever from a chip shop !

9.30£ for a piece of fish . Quite pricey , but I take it is the only shop in the town . I asked for napkins but they didn’t have any . That’s quite shocking for me !
Lovely fish and chips. The batter on the fish was light, not stodgy as it can be, and the chips were proper chippy chips. Served promptly and by two polite young men. Worth noting that this chippy uses beef dripping, though, so may not be suitable for all.
Chips very good, fish......not so, very dry and verrry thin almost verging on overcooked ( I'm a qualified chef) box had a load of grease by the time we were nearly finished, mediocre at best, definitely not worth the 160 round trip from Lanark
