This little cafe has the most beautiful walled garden at the rear, with winding pathways & tables in little hideaways. There is inside seating as well. Freshly made cakes too. The best chocolate brownie I've ever had!
Absolutely amazing place to stay. Off the beaten path in the quaint village of Dunsford. Super quiet with peaceful gardens. Indoor dining available on the second floor with a picture window that provides a stunning view of the garden and valley beyond. Outdoor dining available under a covered patio or at several tables scattered throughout the garden, offering privacy amongst the flowers. Charlotte served us an incredible full English breakfast on our first morning (upon request). Free wifi available. Brilliant English Pub across the street. Highly recommend a quick car ride to the Teign Pub for a pint and even more great food.

Suggestion not trying to be critical but...need new menus and laminate them they'd look better. At the moment covered in stains and crumpled.

Cover dirty washing next to washing machine with a screen. It looks unsightly.
Small things make places better.
A beautiful little cafe/restaurant with some space inside, but more importantly, a beautiful walled garden out the back with tables dotted throughout. A relatively simple menu (see the pics attached) but great quality and good sized portions of food. The home made pies are great. Well worth a visit.
Edit: it's 2021, and it's still as good as ever! Great food at really reasonable prices Ina lovely setting. Great service, too.
A wonderful place to come and be...to stay B&B or pop-in and be refreshd.In the midst of the walled garden are flowers, shrubs, bird's nd the sounds of nature. You can come join a table here or inside the cottage, the choice is yours.. but please do choose to discover it, a place to enjoy a Devon Cream Tea and so much more..

We visited here as it had been highly recommended, what a treat! It was a a glorious day and the surroundings are beautiful. I can imagine it gets busy but we were lucky. We only intended to pop in for a cuppa and a slice of cake but ended up having lunch. The prices were reasonable and the slice of stilton served on my husbands ploughmans was a generous helping! The slices of cake were equally generous. We will be back
Helpful and friendly staff. Coffee was great and I was tempted by the cakes as they looked amazing.
The garden was nice and we'd hope to return in the summer to appreciate it more. Upstairs in the café has a great view.

We visited here several times while staying on holiday in the area. A perfect gem of a place! The large walled garden is arranged with plenty of covers but each table is located in a quiet secluded space within the pretty gardens. The food was lovely with a wide ranging menu and a variety of wonderful cakes! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value and fantastic opening times which meant you never needed to wonder if it was open, make this a perfect stopping point.
