Helpful and friendly receptionist on arrival. Lovely decor and very quirky surroundings in the hotel. Dunster itself is very picturesque with some lovely shops, short 5 min drive to the beach. Food was very tasty. The cinnamon sponge pudding was delicious best dish so far. Showers are great and bath very relaxing. Rooms warm and cosey and quiet even on the main road.

Went for a couple of drinks with wifey. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful olde worlde charm but the prices for the drinks. OMG. a large glass of pinot grigio £10. A whole bottle £28!!! I reckon its 150% mark up at least. In lidl Minehead just down the road the same wine starts from £5 up to £7 a bottle. Come on lutterell arms that's just fleecing your customers bring it down maybe £6 for a large glass and £15 a bottle would be fair.

I can only recommend the afternoon tea in the garden at the back of the hotel. On a good day it's a lovely spot views of Dunster castle. Lovely tea and cakes. Unfortunately I've heard many bad reviews about the food in the restaurant .

Popped in unplanned for a beer while passing through Dunster on a hike. The building and atmosphere are incredible, and the ale was decent (and reasonably priced) too. Will make a point of going back.

Staff are lovely! Lady on reception was so sweet, and we haven’t met Kelly yet but already love her from speaking to her on the phone! The room so special and super cossy we even got a little upgrade considering it was my partners birthday! The location is right up our street too! Guys thankyou! ❤️

We enjoyed lunch in their 'secret garden', which is a very pleasant spot on a sunny day. Service, food and price were all good. No complaints and we'd be happy to recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights in August. We had a double room on the top floor looking out on Dunster High Street. This is a hotel with significant history and this is reflected in the architecture, layout and facilities. In fact this is used to great advantage to create an interesting, cosy, inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The bar is distinctly old fashioned, but in a really good way. The residents lounge is a great place to sit, eat, drink or just relax. The main restaurant is over three levels and is a great place to enjoy breakfast and dinner. The standard of both were being excellent. The staff were, without exception, lovely. Professional, yet very friendly and welcoming. The secret garden is a real surprise and in good weather would be fantastic to have lunch in. There is a lovely looking spa in the hotel as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I have no doubt we will visit again.

Consistently good food and service for the week we stayed in Dunster. The building and interior are beautifully kept and make this a great experience. Thank you to the staff for giving great a service, do ask for a gratuity, I think tips would be higher.

What an awesome place for lunch while visiting Dunster. We kept an eye out for somewhere for lunch but initially overlooked this place due to where we parked. The restaurant is large with lots of nooks to sit in. We initially sat at an indoor table and noticed the sign for the “secret garden” it was a sunny day so went to investigate! We were not disappointed, the garden at the back is worth a visit for a drink or lunch in its own right. Service was fast and the food was great, definite recommend 👍🏻
