Just come back from the hungry horse (27.12.16) after having a lovely festive meal with family. Took my 3 children one of which (14 months) was not herself and would not settle at all which was not easy at all for me or my husband! But I must give credit to the staff one in particular (think her name was Zoe) who was extremely helpful and understanding, brought my daughters a balloon each and my youngest 3 little soft toys to try and entertain her and calm her down. Offered to take her in the play room so we could eat our food and then offered to put my husbands food on a hot plate in the kitchen to keep it warm for him as he had taken my youngest to the play room. None of which she had to do. Very much appreciated her helping. It's our go to restaurant when we go out for food and we are never disappointed. So sorry to anyone who was eating there tonight who had to listen to my daughters temper X

Hadn't been here for years. Pleasantly surprised. Food was really good, we ate off the £15 family menu and portion sizes were bigger than expected. Dessert was amazing! The service was great too. Def recommend and be returning again soon! �

We have eaten here a few times now and just popped up for a drink also, it is great value for money. Waiting time is not long at all. The food is very nice overall. All the staff are very friendly and they make sure you have everything you need or want.

Went as a family tonight as its Halloween, excellent atmosphere. Food was amazing all our meals were excellent. All staff were friendly, service was very good and not rushed.

Best beer garden around! Extremely reasonably priced food and drinks. A good variety of food and drinks. Clean since new management took over. Great staff and new manager is very personable. My daughter nags to go there all the time (child friendly) and weekend entertainment is always brilliant. Can't wait for the upcoming refurb!! Well done Danny on really turning the place around ☺️ will continue spending all my wages here 🤣.

Had a great time hear for our Xmas doo. Staff were fantastic. Food portions are not for the faint hearted they were huge!!!!!! Everything a growing lad needed. Will def go back. Thanks for making our night great.

Visited last week as part of a large family day out. Couldn't fault the food or the staff, who went out of their way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Ordered 10 different meals and no complaints about any of them.
Regrettably as I was distracted on leaving I forgot to leave a well deserved tip. But will make up for this on my next visit, which will be very soon.

As it's our local pub me and my partner eat here regularly. The food and service is always consistently excellent. Staff are really friendly and attentive and you can't fault the value compared to similar establishments in the area. Have never had a bad meal here. Keep up the good work!

Amazing time at the Dunvant tonight. Amazing band and rock n roll bingo. The new landlord has definitely put his stamp on the place. Toilets have had a miracle makeover too! Cant wait to be back at my local.
