The jacket potato with beans and cheese was simply delicious. Totally recommend it. The cakes were also very tasty.
It's a nice place to have lunch or small coffee pit stop. The service is also very nice.. the servers were very sweet.
Quite nice, especially by the standards of cafe-associated-with-tourist-stop. Looked possible for a vegan to eat a full meal (main, soup, and dessert) if desired.
Not much choice for lunch, but plenty of cakes and hot drinks. Had the house special venison stew which came with bread but no butter. Atmosphere was pretty dark and grimy, but staff friendly and toilets clean.
Cozy ambience, the staff is very sweet as well, they should keep their name tags visible to be able to call them by their name, would be nicer that way rather than too formal

Nipped in for lunch before visiting the castle. Jacket potato with salmon salad was one of the best I've ever had. A veritable triumph. Unfortunately, the soup of the day was poor and therefore 5 stars was not quite achieved on this occasion. Special mention to the young Steven Segal who took my food order. Why waste words when you have eyes like those.
Great place for a coffee. It's very easy to get parking, plenty of spaces.
I had a fresh salmon baguette, cheese scone and clotted cream with jam, absolutely 💯 awsome, best salmon baguette I have ever had, a full baguette, and the scone was soft and mouth watering.
The new Ower is very welcoming, very polite and very easy to talk to, I would definitely recommend a must stop, I will definitely be going again 😀
As the cafe is in our village we thought we’d check it out for our guests. The places was buzzing with activity, and very popular with visitors. A good choice of meals,drinks and snacks. Great customer service and would definitely go back.
