Food really good I ordered the hot wings and a meaty large pizza. Very tasty and food was nice and hot. The dessert tasted a little plasticy but expected for bought in desserts.
Service was great and Jenna ensured we had a great night out. We had a great chat and could recommend anything off the menu. Couldn't fault service politeness and menu knowledge.

First time we have been and we with our grandchildren. Very happy with both the food and service. There was a good choice on the menu from not so healthy to healthy and the kids eat everything which says it all. Stephen C served us and could not have been obliging. We will certainly come again when we have the grandchildren as they really liked it.
As a family we always enjoy F & B's. The Durham restaurant is our favourite. The staff are brilliant and the food is always to a good quality. The new evening two or three course menu is great value and it includes unlimited soft drink refills. I would highly recommend to start with potato skins, they are so filling!
Went for Sunday lunch with my Mother who requires a booth and had one available straight away. The server was amazing and made Mum up a cocktail that they don't do any more. Food was amazing and reasonably priced
Nice place if you are near the windows. Otherwise a bit dark. Food is nice. Download the app for vouchers. Without the vouchers I think the quality/cost balance is a bit off. Meal with the family can easily get to £50 to £60 while that seems expensive for what you get, which (in my eyes) is an upmarket pizza hut.
Had lunch with my sister yesterday at F&B Durham. Nicola was fantastic. Right balance between professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt like a valued customer. Which with large chains can sometimes be lacking.
The manager was also helpful and friendly when I had a problem with a discount code.
My nearest F&B - Will be back soon.
Ive always had a good service at the Durham branch. Can be slow when not fully staffed or fully booked though (Ive had a party here as well) . Staff are pleasant. Ive not had everything yet, coffees etc but the food I have received I have enjoyed. Some items are pricey, but I think the FnB menu is overall better than it was some years ago when I travelled to Boldon. Prefer Durham to Boldon, Metro and the Galleries at this time. Maybe in years to come Ill say something different, but I hope not.
As an update, I'm still happy with the service and quality of the food a few years on.
Friendly staff who were great with the kids. The portions were massive, and the chicken salad came with what appeared to be an entire hen in there.
Calzone was delicious, none of our party had any issue with their order.
