By far and away the best pizza in Durham. Excellent service too and for an amazing slice (£2-3.50£ per slice , and the slices are very big).

Top service! Guy behind the counter is really friendly and helpful, knows every single ingredient used in his pizzas which is helpful when you have an allergy! Warm food, quick service, quality tasty pizzas…. Whats not to like? Will be returning time and time again

As the name suggests, it's great you can buy just a slice of the pizza you fancy so you can get a good selection for a very reasonable price. We only had the pepperoni and the garlic bread as we were eating out later that evening but even the two slice portions are huge. Both were better than I've tasted in most Italian restaurants. Also really friendly guy doing the cooking/serving...Absolutely top place!!!

I tried pizza which is with sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto was delicious. After eating, it made my stomach feel uncomfortable but maybe just because of me. The atmosphere was nice, but just take away. There is no place to sit. Prices are normal.

It is difficult to overstate how good this pizza is. The sauce; the cheese; the crust; the toppings: all phenomenal. It's easily the best pizza I've had in Durham, easily the best NY style pizza I've had in the UK, and better than most pizza I've had in the US (I'm from just outside NYC). If you don't love this pizza, then you just don't like NY style pizza.

5 star all the way. Not the average tasteless cardboard pizza. It is the real deal! We have tried most varieties available liked each one of them. The sauces are spot on and the crust is divine. I am so glad that I have found this gem 💎

100% the best pizza in Durham. The dough and sauce are quality and perfection. For £2.50-£3.00 a slice this is an absolute bargain. Just delicious

Hands down THE BEST PIZZA IN DURHAM, if not the whole country. I've been coming here for a year and a half, enough times that Rob now remembers that I'm not the neatest eater and hands me a napkin even without me asking for it lol. Anyways, they do a thin crust pizza with prefectly crispy bottoms (they heat the slices up in the oven when you order)that yet maintains that chewy texture in the interior of the dough, while balancing just the right amount of sauce and toppings to bring out the flavours of all of them to the maximum. How he manages to do it without a wood fired oven is beyond my comprehension, but he does magic with his pizza stone and I'm obsessed with it. Flavours range from classic margherita and pepperoni to spicy nduja and roasted veg, but my all time favourite is the their signature white pie, which has caramelized onions and ricotta on a white base. It was my first time having a pizza without a tomato sauce base and was pretty skeptical about it, but oh I was wrong. Rob told me he imports most of his ingredients from Italy and makes everything from scratch, and his pizzas are incredibly affordable (even gives student discounts!) considering their quality. You can see him relentlessly cleaning his stall all the time keeping it spotlessly clean and they have top food hygiene rankings too! My Newyorker and Italian friends all rave about his place too, so pls pls give it a try. It's in the market hall behind the fish mongers but they do pretty much sell out before 3pm so do get there early. Never write lengthy reviews but really hope this can give them the recognition they rightfully deserve so that we can one day enjoy this amazing pizza in a bigger setting for dinner with beers too! (Although I'd still choose to come here to stand in the alleyway while eating this slice over having chairs at other pizzerias anyday of the year)
