Very attentive for disabled people. Tradotional sunday roast is very taste, and very good portion size. Home made Yorkshire pudding. View over the river Wear. Nice background music.

Lovely place in Durham. Here visiting on a works trip and popped in here for an evening meal. Sat on the roof terrace overlooking the river it was beautiful. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. A definite visit if in Durham the food, cocktails and atmosphere here were all fantastic.

Beautiful spot to people watch and watch the river and the boats. The food was stunning. We just had nibbles, but something a little different.

Just popped in for a couple of drinks. It was a good choice. Drinks were very reasonably priced and you can sit out by the riverside for a relaxed atmosphere.

Came here with a group of 20 for my friends birthday. Good atmosphere, however said we couldn’t order food as we’d only booked the table for drinks which was strange as I thought we’d be able to get food aswell. Cocktails were gorgeous. Apart from a hair being in one of mine, but I took it back to the bar and she happily made me a new one.

Food was good. Lovely views over the river. Not wheelchair accessible though, however they did allow us to eat in the bar rather than the restaurant, so we were fortunate that the wheelchair user could walk up the few steps necessary.

Nice place (upstairs in restaurant). Very good steak selection and great selection of sides. Staff friendly and professional. Unfortunately the ridiculously loud music downstairs put a dampener on the dining experience.
