10 perennial border plants fir a tender. I know its the end of the season , but at that price even if you lose some over the winter you have done well . Just need a bit of a tidy up and TLC. Always good value for money.

Lovely place with a great selection. Also very tolerant and helpful when I tried to get a big tree in a very small car!

Plant prices have gone up but still cheaper than most other garden centres and some bargains to be had, food in cafe is good but pricey

Lots of lovely plants, helpful staff. Went back again to get some great pots, plants and another wander round the garden. Definitely worth a return visit.

Upon arrival there were several car parks leading off the entrance & we found a spot without any trouble.
The cafe was fairly busy (we did arrive around 1pm), but we were seated quickly & the staff seemed very friendly.
I might add the staff were all wearing masks & there was a very good covid policy on site.
The food was reasonably priced & both our meals were good quality.
My only gripe was the timing our food arrived. My partner ordered quiche & I had some cake. My cake arrived with the drinks (tea) & my partners arrived a good ten minutes later. I'm not concerned regarding the wait (as the cafe was quite busy), It's good practice to bring both meals together!
The selection of plants was decent & I was quite tempted to buy a small tree fern.
On the whole I'd definitely recommend a visit, remember the exit is a one way system when exiting the car park...

I love this place. Plants are very reasonably priced and multi buys make them even cheaper. Sometimes the plants look a bit worse for wear but this is reflected in the price. I have planted up my full garden over 3 years, with shrubs, grasses and border plants, and have achieved a fabulous result. I bought daffs in spring 2016 (very cheap) as they were about finished and they come back every year. Lovely tea room which is well worth a visit.

Since we moved back to Durham in Nov 2019 we have been regular weekly visitors, especially when lockdown occured in March 2020. They really came into their own, we loved our take outs, sitting in the car picnicking! We have bought loads of plants & trees, especially bamboo! Conifers, Pansy's, Pavier, Privet, dianthus & manure! They have an amazing display of plants, plus garden barrels. We return twice weekly & despite the cafe now open we love our take outs in the car. Well done Pity Me Nursery for diversity in these difficult times.

This garden centre is one of my favourite places to visit for plants. It is so reasonably priced and there's such a good variety of plants. The tea room also serves delicious food.
