Recently, I ordered a cup of black tea and an egg bite. It was not crowded at the Quess Rd store in Durham at 8:00 am. There were also around 6 people working behind the counter. I had 30 minutes before I had to leave for a meeting to enjoy my tea and egg bite. We walked straight to the cashier and ordered there was no line. I then noticed there were around 6 people waiting for orders inside. This process was going slowly. After 15-20 minutes when I had not received my order, I went to check on it. It was not made yet. All the online and drive through orders were taking priority. They need to have some staff taking care of customers right in of them in the store. By the time I received my orders, I had five minutes before I needed to leave.

Overall, people are friendly, sometimes veryyyyyy slow to get your order but it is also very busy. My biggest issue with this location is its cleanliness. Outside of the store & parking lot looks poorly maintained, not a good look. Inside the store there are often flies, straws and receipts on the floor, and the mobile order pickup station is often dirty and wet. Kind of a turn off when you breakfast sandwich is wet from being put into a puddle on the counter. If I’m paying over $10 for a coffee and sandwich I would at least expect the store to be a little bit neater or cleaner.

The best barista there is Kristen !! She’s amazing she makes the best drinks there and her customer service is A 1. The other employees have great customer service as well and drinks and food are always fresh and fast service best star bucks in Durham hands down.

They charge me right no complete order.
The girl at the window is not paying attention to the order and she short us in 2 items and also the coffee I order was wrong caramel macchiato doesn't not taste like caramel and the cup is half way empty.

I only ever use the drive-thru but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Even when they are out of something you order they offer good suggestions and service is always friendly and as quick as they can manage given how busy it can get.

The space is amazing, ideal location to work. But their coffee, needs work. The mistos aren’t made right. And it seems like sometimes they forget to put in the flavoring you asked for. Presentation could also be a lot better.

I've gotta stop with the Caramel Macchiato with almond milk and SF vanilla...it's putting a pinch in my coffee budget. Tastes great, nevertheless!
