Estabulo Bar And Grill - Durham

I have visited most Estabulo Restaurants in the past few years however I must give special recognition to the staff at Durham. They went above and beyond to cater for myself and 2 children providing a fabulous evening. Steak fabulous 👌🏼 Peppercorn sauce to die for 🧨 Staff phenomenal 🔥 We will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone working that night 08/11/23 your doing a great job.

Probably the best meal out I've had in years. Unlimited salad bar, with 15 different kinds of meat brought to the table throughout the night. All cooked to perfection. Fries available on request, but the salad bar was enough. Thought I would be waiting each time for more meat, but they were brought round often enough. Would definately recommend. And will be visiting again.

Me and the hubby had an amazing date night here. It was a bit quiet but that was okay, the steaks were beautiful and none stop. We had two mocktails that came with our date night deal which were delightful! The staff were so friendly and attentive, Will absolutely be back (as soon as we get a sitter again!!!) Arranged an afternoon meal for my birthday, for a Saturday afternoon it was very quiet for 3 pm. The restraunt looks amazing, My first impressions on the salad bar are all good. The initial service was good, and then it all went wrong with the drinks orders, which resulted in a 45-minute wait, and it was repeated twice. I understand that sometimes you have unexperienced staff, but 2 larger,s red wine with a JD and diet coke should be a quick round of drinks considering the amount of staff at this point. Anyway the manager was amazing and promply sorted that out and refunded the drinks, the food was amazing especially the chicken and Brazilian steak. I really like this place and hope it improves its service, Durham and Newcastle have a lot of competition, and thirsty customers are unhappy customers.... drink, drink, drink. Will defo try again;)

Absolutely legendary staff in Estabulo Durham. Arrived super late after a nightmare journey from London, not only were they super accommodating but went above and beyond to ensure me and my sister got a delicious meal and were really well looked after. All the staff were so friendly, attentive and generous. Food was great and we are so grateful they made sure there was plenty left for us. Thank you very much!

Came across this place by chance & wow it was fab. Really different dining experience, loved it. Food was gorgeous, restaurant has fantastic décor, great views, & was absolutely spotlessly clean. Manager Jamie & his team were very welcoming, professional, friendly & informative, best restaurant been to in a long time, highly recommend & will definitely be back!

We came for my birthday meal and had the most wonderful experience!! The restaurant is so gorgeous and the food is absolutely delicious... lovely salad station and a really great selection of meats full of flavour! The manager, Jamie, and his fabulous team were so welcoming and attentive! The service, the atmosphere, and the incredible setting made my birthday!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place for any occasion! :)

Visited for the first time last week for my husband's birthday (Saturday evening, 7:15pm reservation). Honestly, this place is fantastic. The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is wonderful, and it smells amazing! All of the staff were outstanding. All helpful, polite and friendly. Yes, there's a service charge but genuinely felt it was reasonable for the service we received. You get a small tablet at your table to order drinks or put in any special requests which means you don't need to wait for someone to come around. The salad bar is fantastic, really good range. I can be quite fussy and have a few things I need to be careful of with food, but I had plenty to choose from here. The meat... well... wow! I have fillet regularly as I do prefer it, but you can really tell the difference between cuts when you have them one after another! If there's something you're wanting that hasn't been or only came once you can ask. This was my only slight grumble, we had the fillet as our first one, and although the others all came round several times, the fillet didn't. They asked if we were waiting for anything in particular and went to get some more cooked. Annoyingly when it came it was very salty (just been a bit too heavy on the seasoning) which really ruined the meat. Definitely not enough to ruin the experience but just some feedback. When you make the reservation you can select if it's a special occasion, and we were very pleasantly surprised to get a little dessert with a candle which really finished off our evening perfectly. I would definitely recommend it. It is expensive, but I feel the cost reflects what you're getting. For us it's somewhere we would go more for special occasions rather than just a random evening out, but it is worth the money and would return
