Lovely hot chocolate and latte. We both had a white chocolate and toffee sauce which was delicious. Dog friendly, we had forgotten our dogs biscuits, so were given some ham for him. Excellent. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Lovely coconut chocolate brownie and quite a wide range of flavoured chocolate, great to take home as a present. Was lucky enough to get a bit of sunshine, so sitting in the garden area was awesome! Although the hot chocolate is much better than most places in the UK, it's still quite far from the proper thick Italian hot chocolate, sorry 😜, just for any Italians reading, since I've heard a fair amount around. Friendly staff, worth a visit if you're driving on the NC500.

Yet another lovely dog-friendly gem of a place up here on the North Coast. We walked from our camp site at Sango Sands back in the village of Durness with our faithful friend 'Dave' over the headland to the West for a 7-8 mile walk via lovely secluded beaches and sand dunes. On the way back, we called into the cafe at Cocoa Mountain and were met by really friendly staff and a gorgeous selection of food and beverages. We just decided upon a couple of croissants (one cheese and ham-hot, the other being a very seasonal spooky chocolate orange and both were spot on gorgeous) being a chocolate shop I thought it ride not to try the Spooky hot chocolate and it was a good call, it was gorgeous! Our server even asked if we would like a bowl of water for Dave, which went down a treat and was very much appreciated. 😊 Undoubtedly we will be back up here the next chance we get and undoubtedly we will return to Cocoa Mountain to taste their wares. I woke heartedly recommend a visit to anyone. Great place with friendly staff, what's not to like. šŸ‘šŸ˜Ž

This was an unexpected visit but when we seen that they sold the best hot chocolate then we had to stop by. We weren’t even hungry or in need of something sweet but the hot chocolate was absolutely delicious. Probably not the best I’ve had but it’s certainly up there. What stole the show for me was the white chocolate and caramel croissant which was divine! We also got white chocolate and pecan bark and a small selection of mini chocolate which were also very nice. I’d recommend stopping off here if you are in the area.

Delicious hot chocolate and brownies! They have a high chair and a changing station for babies but unfortunately only one toilet at the moment. Staff is super friendly.

It's a nice place to stop and get a drink if you're close by. The hot chocolate is very sickly and thick, not for me but my family enjoyed it. We had a croissant covered with chocolate, which was delicious. Parking in this area can be tricky, but it was quiet when we got there. Overall, it was a nice place to go.

Having been to the sister shop in Dornoch we just had to drop in by when in Durness and after a hot chocolate and croissant we have to say the Dornoch version just beats out this one purely on customer appreciation , the ladies in Dornoch were very friendly while the folk in Durness while busier were not as communicative. The hot chocolate was fantastic and well worth the detour off the NC500 alone
