Unbelievable to finish the Cape Wrath Trail through classic Scottish wilderness and high winds to find John and Angela’s cafe in the Lighthouse barracks. Had some much needed hot food before heading to Kearvaig Bothy to cap of an amazing walk. Thanks for the hospitality. Such an amazing place.
We stayed overnight in the bunkhouse here to spend a bit more time with the amazing scenery on the Cape. John was a great host, giving us walking recommendations, cooking a hearty dinner and breakfast, and even stepping up to drive us back to the ferry 12 miles away when the minibus company made a m
We took the ferry and mini bus trip to Cape Wrath as part of our NC500 adventure. The owners of the Ozone Cafe were very kind to my little boy who just wanted a jam sandwich which wasn’t on the menu. It’s a lovely place and definitely worth a visit and cup of tea.
Beautiful place with kind, welcoming and lovely people. Good place for a warm cup of tea and homemade baked goods after a long walk or short visit.
