Never really had a bad meal from here. Used to love it when they had indoor seating and early morning breakfast

Only have chips if you eat here, this was 9yrs ago so want to update my review. Good service food always hot even when being delivered would recommend.
Looking at other comments, let me just state that I have eaten in this establishment many times, and NOT ONCE have I had greasy chips, as complained about by one malcontent. Truth to tell ... the fish has always been utterly delicious, and very fresh; the batter is incredibly light and crispy; and I can say with hand-on-heart that I have had no better or tastier fish at any other sit-in fried-fish establishment. The price is very reasonable; the staff invariably friendly; the coffee is okay, not brilliant; the place has always been spotlessly clean. I cannot really rate it highly enough. I have paid a great deal more in rather upmarket restaurants and had fish that was not a patch on that sold here. I always have the sane order; the large haddock and chips. And it is invariably utterly delicious, and never, ever greasy.
I always collect my takeaway. Fish is usually cooked to order and is delicious. Chips normally wonderful but can be variable in quality. Overall very satisfied.
This is our local, there are a couple chip shops in Earl Shilton but personally I feel this one is the best!!
Staff are always friendly and smiling and the food is always perfect and doesn’t cost the earth!

Typical take away environment with seating for around 20 people, furniture a little tired but cleanliness at a high standard.The service was very efficient and friendly. The food well cooked, tasty and presented well.
We asked for small changes to the menus which was absolutely no problem. Would recommend it anytime. Thank you for making us feel welcomed.

Finally found a good place to get fish, chips and curry sauce like they do up north. I was starting to think that I was never going to get a decent fish and chips takeaway after moving to Leicestershire. So glad we found here. Huge portions though. One fish and chips would have done the both of us. I'll know for next time.
Lovely friendly staff and tasty veggie burgers and chips. We also enjoyed the pineapple fritters. Was nice to be able to eat in too.
The fish and chips was cooked just nicely. Short wait for the fish but then it was freshly cooked. They also serve kebabs and pizzas but I can't eat everything in one go!
