This pub is one of the best
Sadly my mum passed away we held her wake here and I can’t fault the staff for their help thinking of things that we forgot sitting down with me and my dad sorting out food times dates etc the day was a sad and emotional day the staff were fantastic esp the lady (sorry forgot your name Xxx) in the kitchen who made fantastic buffet and took the time to just listen to myself and dad xxxx i would like to say thank you especially to you xxxx xxxx me and dad have visited after and had a fantastic quick lunch and also a Sunday lunch which was outstanding !!!!! We have popped in for a quick pint and the atmosphere is welcoming and homely xxxx

Beautiful dog-friendly pub. Super friendly staff. Nice outdoor patio area. Dinner was delicious. My crispy buttermilk chicken burger was divine with just the right amount of coleslaw and fries. Hubby loved his steak and ale pie with delish mash and green veg. Thank you to Chef Tom!

Great pub ! Above average pub grub with incredible portion per price 😍 Very dog friendly - a number of bowls for water and free treats are available ❤️ Lovely staff, very attentive and super quick food served after ordering. Nice big outside area with good shade for a hot day too.
Very, very nice food and service was amazing! We bought two dogs with us, which was a little cramped, but everyone was so friendly and the staff were considerate. Only thing was we booked a table for 7.30pm and was told that we had to order quickly as the kitchen was closing, which seemed a bit early so not sure if it was a one off or if it closes that early every night? Would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

Great choice on the menu and really loved the vegan options. Menu was clearly labelled and lots of choice for my Nan! Loved the seniors promotion (she’ll be back). Had a great choice of wine and gins. The staff were super friendly and helpful and could tell they really cared.
Such a lovely spot - loved the pictures of Earls Barton on the wall. Great atmosphere and look forward to returning.
The atmosphere was lovely and the food was great. I orded the Jerk chicken bowl and the other people I was with got the chicken bowl, braised ribs and the chicken burger. The food was decent and it was all-in-all good however the juice was concentrated and from a carton so if you only like fresh like me I wouldn't advise getting the juice.
I'd recommend though have fun!
It was really nice to go to a village pub that hadn't,t been spoilt. The food was very tasty,plenty of it and not over priced. The landlord was a very convivial person and very approachable. Overall I would willingly give the place 10/10 and recommend anyone to go there. Well done all round.
Very cosy pub. Good selection of drinks and decent food. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. We definitely have to come back and enjoy the live music they have on Saturdays.
Rarely do you find a pub with such good pub food for adults and kids, with a great area to watch football and even better service. A brilliant pub
