I have recently moved from Bradford the curry centre of England to south shields further north. I recently went to the Eastern Touch for a meal to which I can say I enjoyed to say this was Indian cuisine at it best is an under statement it was excellent I will re-attend at some point in the near future, the service me and my wife received was also excellent the staff are so friendly and willing to accommodate in every way. I would recommend this place to all my friends far and wide across the country when ever they are up this way for a good place to eat the Eastern Touch is the place to go " Thank You " Peter Lanchester a well satisfied customer.

Fabulous restaurant with an incredible array of main dishes. Had the Punjabi Stir-fry to start and the Sri Lankan for mains, which was as good as any I've had. Good atmosphere, quite an intimate venue with very attentive staff. Will definitely be back to sample more from the menu.

Son recommended eastern touch and I'm glad he did.just visited for take aways food excellent both times visited a little bit dearer than some restaurants but well worth the difference staff friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend and worthy of five stars

Absolutely beautiful food and impeccable and amazing service! We love this restaurant. Have had both eat in and take away service and can't say anything negative at all. It is a bit pricier than average but well worth it for the quality and taste of the food. Give it a shot. Enjoy!
