A beautiful store with tons of cute items and gift ideas, as well as a café portion with excellent food.
I had the vegan breakfast, and it was delicious. I would highly recommend the mocha too, made with real Belgian chocolate.
Would highly recommend visit. Lovely atmosphere. Lived the penguin Christmas display. People of a certain age, including me singing n dancing to it. Kids weren't interested. That's a result😜. I have never in my 79yrs come across a store with so many lovely staff. I was bit low today, but member of staff picked my mood up and stood and chatted. Not long since I lost my husband if 56yrs. It wasn't a feel sorry for me conversation, but was lovely. Went home with more things I didn't know I wanted🫨. But lovely afternoon. Warm sausage roll from deli. Thanks
A young man called Nathaniel waited on our table in the restaurant. I have an eating disorder and ordered a ploughman's lunch. Unfortunately it wasn't available and I became very anxious. Nathaniel was so very helpful and ordered me a deconstructed bread roll with ham , cheese, pickle and slaw. He made me feel so much better. I can't thank him enough.
I do not say this lightly, this is, without doubt, one of the very best garden centres in the UK.
The shopping experience is an absolute delight, offering a wide range of products from what you would traditionally expect to the new and innovative.
As you meander through, each area feels unique and fresh with such care and attention to detail. I was delighted to find a Gin bar with the largest selection I have ever seen!!
One of the many pleasures here is the restaurants nestled in the heart of the centre. Food is always superb, fresh and plenty of options. A real hidden gem.
The staff are excellent and full of knowledge. Always happy to help.
Highly recommended
Beautiful garden centre with lovely staff and a wide variety on offer. From Bath pleasures, garden essentials, Christmas must haves, beautiful scarves, shoes, name it they have it. The food was good too. However, you need to go before 3 pm to get hot food. Our server Oliver Iksley was really good and attentive. Made lovely chit-chat and really ensured we had a good time and had all we needed. The reason not a 5* on this occasion was that our teacups were dirty when served. Had to point this out to the young lady who served us, who was apologetic and went to get us fresh cups. The chilli beef was on the cold side, so it could have been warmed up. Attention to detail a bit lacking there. Nonetheless, I highly recommend a visit and do try the carrot cake. It was delicious. The chocolate cake was a bit too rich for me, but equally tasty. The checkout lady was just as pleasant and chatty.
Today I have visited the East Bridgewater garden centre with my two sisters both in their 80s. The centre was easy to walk around especially as one of my sisters uses a wheelchair. We stayed for lunch and and it was acceptable for my sisters to have a child's portion. We also took advantage of the offers for blue diamond card holders. A lovely day out😊
Would have been 5 star before our last visit. Took my mother for her 85th birthday along with my brother over from America & my sister over from Portugal. Raved about the shopping and meal but oh, what a disappointment the meal was, previously had a marvellous burger and ordered it again, what I got was a hard lump of rubber between two tiny slices of ciabatta (smaller than the burger). None of us enjoyed our meal I felt embarrassed about suggesting going there. On a better note the staff are lovely, they go all out to help you, lovely girl near the fitting rooms offered to go searching for different sizes, nothing was too much trouble and she’d only been there a few weeks. Ladies on the tills are patient and helpful, the shop staff saved the day and kept the score high. Lots of lovely seasonal stuff, can be a bit pricey but general a good place to visit.
Lovely garden centre with a great variety of goods on offer and a good choice of food, cakes and drinks available in the restaurant.
Plants are quite pricey but a wide choice is available alongside plenty of garden accessories. The clothes on offer are really excellent and not overpriced. Plenty of parking space and decent loos what more could you want! Oh and the checkout assistant was very friendly too!
Absolutely love this garden centre; everything is displayed inside in sections, so many varieties in household goods, food, indoor/outdoor plants. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The xmas displays are starting to be up and running and love the penguins!
I go to a few garden centres and what a lovely place it's definitely in my top 5 garden centre. Didn't realize how big it was. Pricing ok, coffee shop serve decent coffee same again price off the coffee was decent. Highly recommended this garden centre to anyone.
