The Mug Tree Tea Room

I have been coming to The Mug Tree since my Son was 3 days old. He is now 7, and I have a 5 year old daughter. The owners and the atmosphere are so welcoming, and attentive. The attention to detail and the care is clear. I last frequented The Mug Tree on Saturday when my beautiful friend, and sister in law to be, had her Baby Shower. We had afternoon tea, which was delicious, and enjoyed the chocolate making. Highly recommend 🥰

We just had a children’s birthday party at The Mug Tree Tea room and it was the most perfect location! Amazing service from Kathryn and her team, delicious food, and a lovely warm, cosy and relaxed environment. Couldn’t recommend them enough for any small gathering, parties, family do’s, or other celebrations! The food is so yummy and there’s an amazing selection too. I particularly recommend the Eton Mess Sundaes and Cream Teas 😋. Thanks again for a wonderful time! Xxx

I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to eat when I walked in but the big choice of sundaes settled my mind very quickly. This is how I ended up devouring a yummy Lotus Biscuit Sundae! In the meantime, my wife was enjoying her salmon bagel with salad and crisps on the side. We enjoyed our food and the overall experience so, most likely, we'll visit it again but to get the 5th star I think they should put more attention to details. My latte was served without a teaspoon and the food was served without napkins. I noticed the same happening at the table next to us, where they had to call the waitress just to have some napkins.
