Recently changed owners, but still really good service and food. If anything, the chips are now even better, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside.

Large flakes of pearly white cod and lovely crispy batter is consistently excellent.
Simon the manager is always really friendly and couldn't be more helpful.

What an incredible man that took my order today at 5.20 pm. He was like a human computer! I'm guessing it was his wife who was cooking behind the scenes. She was incredible too, thank you "Mrs"! I was very kindly given a pen - without asking - to write on each serving as it was a big order, (what a God send) and the curry sauce I'd requested was given to me free 😀 The food was really good. Thank you Taylors Fish Bar. I will be back.

Currently our favourite fish and chips in town, portion size is very generous, tastes really good and a massive bonus is that the food isn't dripping with grease (which we've had from other fish and chip shops).

Best fish and chips in the South East.
Chips are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside; the fish is flakey and the batter is thin yet crispy.
Order fish and chips and a pot of their curry sauce - you won't regret it.

What can I say, so far so good, fast service , they don’t muck about , I been to other fish and chips places and waited for 35 minutes after, I placed the order, and they managing very well during pandemic crisis. Best Chip and Fish in town .

The fish was fresh and hot but very greasy batter chips were good and a can of drink all for £4.90 and just the right size portion for a working lunch very nice
