Very nice experience! we were 4 friends and a baby and the staff in general and specifically our waiter was super nice, friendly and helpful. The food was also amazing... what else can you ask for??
What an unassuming place with excellent food. We went out to watch the Hampton Head and found this pub. The food was absolutely declicious!
Stunning service and tasty food... We came with friends during very busy evening and the team was very supportive in finding a space for us. They have car park just behind the venue. We will be definitely coming back.
Went to this lovely pub after visiting Hampton court with my wife and two kids. Upon arrival we were greeted by a staff member who showed up to a table and helped us through the menu. We ordered a light lunch and I must say I was very impressed with the quality and the kids food options are amazing. Will be coming back next time we’re in the area.
Popped in for a few pints with mates, glad we did. Busy atmosphere but staff were helpful and attentive. Great beer selection and food looked really good. Will definetly be in again
I enjoyed a really hearty braised beef dish and the friendly team of waiters looked after my wife and I admirably.
There is free parking available, but don't forget to register your plate once you enter the pub to avoid a fine.
Food was good. We had some starters, both the mac n cheese and the korean fried cauliflower were delicious. They do have low alcohol beers, Brooklyn and Heineken were available options. We got the mousse as desert and it was a bit too heavy for us, maybe add some ice cream if you want to lighten it up a bit.
Downside is, it was so very loud inside. We sat at the restaurant area and we were barely able to hear each other. If the weather allows, definitely prefer the outside sitting area.
Went for a quiet drink on the worst afternoon possible - a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon after a couple of miserable weeks. It was overflowing with punters and service efficiency was the main victim. Nevertheless we managed to get served our snack of fries and sourdough toast and Camembert, as well as our bloody orange flavored gin and tonic were purchased and delivered. The young Spanish girl running the show in the garden was very cool and efficient and the food was amazing.
Went to visit Hampton Palace and decided to go for a dinner after.
I'll begin by appreciating the employees for their friendliness. They came a few times to make sure everything was okay. (and it seems they do this with all the customers).
You can opt to stay at the bar if you want to have a drink, or you can choose a table that is isolated from the bar area if you want to have supper and a more intimate setting.
Additionally, there are tables outside, where food is served from a barbecue if you choose so)
Although perhaps not my favorite, the starter was interesting and the mozzarella was fresh.
The hamburger was decent.
The meat wasn't the best—I'd say it was a little chewy—but it was still good overall.
Although the brownie itself was dry, the sorbet, nuts, and cherries made the desert quite fascinating.
They offered a three-course meal for £30, so our final bill with service was almost £67(plus a pint of beer and half pain of cider).
This was a lovely, popular pub!
We visited the pub on an impromptu Sunday afternoon and the food was absolutely delicious! Pub had a great environment inside, it was lovely and warm and we received a good, friendly service. It's well worth a visit!
Nice pub with a friendly atmosphere and a beer garden in the backyard.
Food is good.
A pleasant find. The server was excellent, the food was really good.Try the crab burger, something different and very tasty.
The only feedback I would give is that we sat outside and although pleasant as it was lovely and sunny it was a bit scruffy, cardboard boxes flattened out on the vacant bar area, a random bike. Tidy this up and I would give it 5 🌟 stars.
Nice pub with good food. They also have a nice variety of beers and ciders. The fish and chips were nice and crispy, and the burger was delicious. Portions are pretty big. Service is quick and polite.
What an absolute gem of a place. Great value. Very good food that can challenge a lot of higher priced establishments. I had a succulent roast pancetta and a Wonderful Guinness dark chocolate cake with afrogato. Bitter sweet and grown up decadence. Customer service was attentive and very good. I will be coming back.
Stopped off for a quick lunch. Not a great amount of choice for veggies but what we had was really good. We both had mushrooms on sough dough bread and shared the skin on fries. Friendly and quick service. Very nice
It's quite spacious inside, good variety of drinks and food on the menu. We had the wild mushroom arancini to start, and the fish & chips for our main. The arancini was delicious, the fish amd chips was a generous portion size. The Pea puree (correction - pease pudding) was a bit bland unfortunately but otherwise all good.
Service was good too.
