It's rare you go somewhere for a coffee and 8 weeks later you're good mates, having BBQs and watching the kids run riot. This is testament to why Miss Polly's is such a success, welcoming, engaging, friendly, wicked menu (Caesar Salad rocks) but more importantly just a bloody good place to go for a quick coffee, a full lunch or having a full on family get together...
What a treat. The very warm, personalised service. Mum's juggling buggies, babies, high chairs, toys and snacks made to feel very welcome and soothed. Super helpful staff. Delicious food. Thank you so much!
I have just had an amazing breakfast at this lovely cafe. I reviewed it on trip advisor last November and tried to put another review on but it wouldn’t let even though it’s nearly 8 months ago.
I had the hash brown stack consisting of two beautifully made home made hash browns, mushrooms, asparagus, poached egg, bacon (an added extra) salad leaves and a lovely balsamic sauce. Delicious.
Since I’ve been last time they’ve extended into next door so that shows how well they’re doing.
The owner is absolutely lovely along with her amazing work force they just make you feel so very welcome. I am an ex village shop cafe owner myself so I appreciate how well run this lovely place is. Thank you for a lovely breakfast. See you soon.
Miss Polly by Layla just catered our daughters 30th birthday party for us. I
was astounded by the wonderful attitude, the ability to produce food to suit gluten, dairy, nut intolerant guests and to provide an effort free service to us. Our guests simply loved the creative food, the gourmet desserts and the shawarma lamb. Beautifully served and professionally managed by Layla, Dale and Pip, the luxury of at home catering was well worth every penny! Simply amazing in every way.

The coffee is not my favourite, expresso is my personal choice, but in miss polly I rather have an americano.
Sometimes have expresso though.
Toilets are clean.
Friendly staff. In the morning 8am the sun hits the big windows and really warm. About food just tried pana chocolate and its good.

Very nice breakfast! Might not be to everyone's taste as there are actually some interesting flavours going on in the hash brown and sausage, unlike your usual greasy spoon fare. Great coffee, friendly staff.
Layla from Miss Polly’s did the catering for a large family gathering - the food was fantastic! They asked us what we were after and delivered a superb menu which was perfect for the occasion. They arrived in plenty of time to help us set up and there was so much food there was no risk of anyone leaving our party hungry. Top quality ingredients and patient service always delivered with a friendly smile. We love these guys and will definitely use them next time we need catering for a party. Thankyou!
Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Miss Polly by Layla for the most incredible spread for my friends baby shower today - it was totally perfect. You were fantastic when we met to discuss brief/menu and so helpful in accommodating mix of dietary requirements including gestational diabetes. The food looked so good and was completely delicious - everyone commented on it. It was such a great mix of dishes and flavours. Thank you too for delivering and making “hosting” at 36 weeks pregnant very easy!
We ordered a buffet from Miss Polly by Layla for a family garden party for 20 people. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The coronation chicken dish was exceptional and the sausage rolls were very popular too. Many thanks Layla :-)
Layla and the Miss Polly team were fantastic from the first enquiry I made right to the end today when I returned the cutlery! Layla had some really wonderful ideas for my work team picnic, provided everything we needed to make it "covid secure" by bagging up each picnic individually and providing metal cutlery etc. The menu was interesting and inviting and even managed to cater for veggie/vegan dietary requirements too. Most importantly the food looked and tasted delicious, really top quality, and was universally admired by the 25 of us who enjoyed the picnic bags. Felt like a massive treat.
Thank you Layla, would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone and will definitely be in touch in the future for any other catering events locally.
We asked Miss Polly by Layla to create 50 lemon meringue pies for my late Uncle in law’s wake as they were his favourite puddings. From the point of ordering to collection, the team made it so easy and nothing was too much trouble. As for the pies, wow- they were absolutely out of this world. Thank you. My go to caterers for special occasions. Highly recommend.
It's a WOW! Fantastic Food and Amazing Service from Layla, Dale and the team for my Mum's special 70th Birthday. A wonderful High Tea and then followed by a sumptuous feast in the evening, much to everyone's delight! Two weeks later and every guest is still talking about the fabulousness of it all. I can't recommend highly enough, a great experience with a very friendly and unobtrusive team, which is exactly what you want from private catering. Thank you so much again to you all! For those that haven't tried Miss Polly Cafe I suggest you do!
