Food was good, well priced and service was good too. Our server was funny and friendly and helped when asked.
The hot wings to start were spicy with good flavour and the classic burger and fries was also good.
The apple Betty for desert wasn't great and tasted like it had been microwaved but was still OK.
Came here as it was attached to a premier Inn stay and was slightly concerned seeing the reviews and photos but happily surprised at the quality and service we received.
The food was really nice and the staff were really freindly and helpful. My wifes order unfortunately was missing an ingredient but the chef made a special meal to accommodate the choice replacing some of the items to create a very nice similar option.
My son who was 2 dropped part of his desert but even though the restaurant had no blame in this he received a replacement item free of charge.
Overall I couldn't be happier with this visit.
A 9th birthday party with 16 people. It was all served up efficiently and in good time.
One big plus, their tables were NOT sticky as so many eateries are, also very tolerant with small children but no crayons :o( lol
I had such a loverly meal here, the mac and cheese bits are to die for, they were so good, I could eat them constantly.
I got served by the brilliant Jordan, he was such a wonderful person, he made sure I was okay and kept asking if I needed anything and kept my drink topped up! I could see how stressed he was but he kept his composure and worked hard with everything he did. He also made sure my custard was extra hot with my sticky toffee pudding which is fantastic.
Had a lovely evening out for my birthday. Jordan was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble so massive Thankyou to him! Food was lovely and a great atmosphere. Extra thumbs up for the cocktails! 🥰
Six of us (2 Kids) stopped here for lunch on a Sunday,
Our waitress was amazing,
always smiling and as attentive as she could be and was happy to make changes for our 2 fussy kids.
We got the the feeling they were short staffed that day as the waiting times were slightly longer than i would expect but our waitress didn’t let that show in her attitude, she done a great job.
Over all i would recommend the Roundstone as its good value for money and family friendly 👍🏼

Always busy and the service is decent
Very standard place to eat or drink. Food quality is not bad, portion size is on the smaller side, staff never really seem to be happy nor annoy 😀
So I was quite surprised at the mixed reviews of this particular venue because I can only describe the service I had as outstanding!
I don't personally cook so as you can imagine I eat out quite a bit & I can honestly say that this is the only restaurant that I've ever visited where the first thing I was asked after I said I was there for a meal was if I have any food allergies?? Super impressed..
The food I had was lovely and was served relitavly quickly despite it being a moderately busy late afternoon. I requested two item changes, one on the main course and one on the desert (the latter change not even being on the menu) and both were accommodated without hesitation.. The food here is in my opinion very good value for money, so if you're ever passing by, it's well worth stopping off here.. I'll certainly be returning...
Always love going to the roundstone for the buffet breakfast. Good hot food cooked well with great service. Definitely worth a visit.
