The Boulevard

I stopped in here this morning on recommendation from the hosts of a family whose pet I’m looking after… glad I did! My little kiddies English Breakfast with a hot beverage of choice for £5.50 was delightful, and my server was really friendly and attentive!! Will certainly come in again while I’m here.

Visited on Saturday on one of the hottest days of the year, so it was naturally quite busy. However the staff were incredibly attentive, firendly and worked tirelessly (I hope they get a fair share of the tips). The cod and chips we ordered were not only incredibly tasty and fresh but also served in a huge portion. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and we would happily return when next in the area. Kudos to the dedicated staff!

Amazing fish and chips, so fresh and tasty. Generous portions and we were stuffed. Friendly, attentive staff. Toilets were clean and had nice touches to make it child friendly. Tables were nicely cleaned down between each set of customers. We came for a last minute day trip to the beach, perfect end to our day. Thank you to all at Boulevard on bank holiday Monday evening. Have recommended you to all our friends and family who visit the coast here often.

Looking for a great place to eat in East Wittering? Look no further…The Boulevard and it’s team delivered an exceptional dining experience this evening, for us, a family of 5 on holiday in the area. Such an amazing meal - simple food, well-presented, delicious and generous portions. We ordered 2 Cod and salad, Grilled haddock, the New York burger and a beef lasagne….everything was superb! The meals were all extremely filling and even though we had little place for dessert, we still opted to share the decadent homemade Banoffee crunch on offer and some ice cream options …we were not disappointed! Glorious desserts…other tables were ordering some of the amazing looking sundaes! Lots of choices! Hats off to the whole Boulevard team, especially the barman who served up some delicious cocktails and the hard working waiters and waitresses who were busy with the dinner rush …it was Saturday early dinner time. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area craving a great meal.

My friend took me to this restaurant in East Wittering as he had told me the night before how good the breakfast was, let me tell you he was 100% correct. We sat down, we’re greeted with would you like a drink. We ordered drinks two latte’s and they arrived within 5 mins warm and very tasty. I don’t think we had barley sat down to enjoy our latte’s and the breakfasts arrived. They were warm and they were cooked so well, delicious tasting. It was worth the 1hr and 15 min journey to eat this breakfast.

I have been here several times now. I often eat here when I visit Wittering. Every time, I am impressed by the hugely generous portions and value for money. The duck spring rolls had a good crunch and were fresh, though the filling could have contained more meat. The steak and chips were very good. The steak was cooked well and the chips were chunky and hot as usual. It was accompanied by a side salad and some onion rings. A real comfort dish and a guilty pleasure! And a little smartie cookie to finish. Despite the food served here mainly being your classic cafe and pub food, there is a greater emphasis than at other places on homemade, which noticeably makes it taste better. This is a good place for a big lunch or dinner after a long time at the beach!

From the ages of 3 to 8 years old, my parents used to take me to East Wittering every summer for our holidays. We used to eat at The Boulevard every day. The food was always amazing, the portions were always very generous, the staff were always lovely and the prices were always fantastic...... roll forward to when I visited a couple of weeks ago for the first time after 36 years..... to not only find that very little has changed, but that it is now run by the son and daughter of the original owners! You absolutely must try the food and hospitality here on your next visit ❤️
