Review The Boulevard - East Wittering

Amazing fish and chips, so fresh and tasty. Generous portions and we were stuffed. Friendly, attentive staff. Toilets were clean and had nice touches to make it child friendly. Tables were nicely cleaned down between each set of customers. We came for a last minute day trip to the beach, perfect end to our day. Thank you to all at Boulevard on bank holiday Monday evening. Have recommended you to all our friends and family who visit the coast here often.

I have been here several times now. I often eat here when I visit Wittering. Every time, I am impressed by the hugely generous portions and value for money. The duck spring rolls had a good crunch and were fresh, though the filling could have contained more meat. The steak and chips were very good. The steak was cooked well and the chips were chunky and hot as usual. It was accompanied by a side salad and some onion rings. A real comfort dish and a guilty pleasure! And a little smartie cookie to finish. Despite the food served here mainly being your classic cafe and pub food, there is a greater emphasis than at other places on homemade, which noticeably makes it taste better. This is a good place for a big lunch or dinner after a long time at the beach!

Looking for a great place to eat in East Wittering? Look no further…The Boulevard and it’s team delivered an exceptional dining experience this evening, for us, a family of 5 on holiday in the area. Such an amazing meal - simple food, well-presented, delicious and generous portions. We ordered 2 Cod and salad, Grilled haddock, the New York burger and a beef lasagne….everything was superb! The meals were all extremely filling and even though we had little place for dessert, we still opted to share the decadent homemade Banoffee crunch on offer and some ice cream options …we were not disappointed! Glorious desserts…other tables were ordering some of the amazing looking sundaes! Lots of choices! Hats off to the whole Boulevard team, especially the barman who served up some delicious cocktails and the hard working waiters and waitresses who were busy with the dinner rush …it was Saturday early dinner time. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area craving a great meal.

My friend took me to this restaurant in East Wittering as he had told me the night before how good the breakfast was, let me tell you he was 100% correct. We sat down, we’re greeted with would you like a drink. We ordered drinks two latte’s and they arrived within 5 mins warm and very tasty. I don’t think we had barley sat down to enjoy our latte’s and the breakfasts arrived. They were warm and they were cooked so well, delicious tasting. It was worth the 1hr and 15 min journey to eat this breakfast.

Freshly cooked and the staff are so friendly I would recommend this place for fish and chips BUT BECAREFUL THE FISH IS QUIET BIG BUT VERY YUMMY

This was a nice restaurant. A short walk from the beach, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this place had seating on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The prices here are really reasonable, and the fish and chips are absolutely delicious. The milkshakes are also really yummy too. At the end they gave us a small pot of sweets to go with the receipt which I thought was nice. I’d recommend this place, and would definitely go again.

A great place to eat. Visited many times over the years and keep going back as always enjoyed the food. Great variety and very generous portions. Staff always friendly and chefs do a great job as always busy. Has inside and outside seating and is dog friendly

Visited on Saturday on one of the hottest days of the year, so it was naturally quite busy. However the staff were incredibly attentive, firendly and worked tirelessly (I hope they get a fair share of the tips). The cod and chips we ordered were not only incredibly tasty and fresh but also served in a huge portion. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and we would happily return when next in the area. Kudos to the dedicated staff!

Great cafe, inside and outside dining. Outside has heating and blankets which was perfect after a windy wet walk on the sea front. Food portions are generous and really tasty. We got there just before noon and the breakfast was still available. I had the crispy chicken, bacon & avocado jacket, it was so good! Each element was perfectly cooked and the side salad was dressed and fresh. Prices are pretty standard and for the quality, totally worth it. Give it a go :)

Highley recommended. The Boulevard offers the best quality locally sourced produce and everything is cooked to a high standard. The portion sizes are huge and very tasty. The breakfasts are fantastic (especially the fried bread). The pancakes and bacon are highly recommended. In fact everything on the menu is!!!! The staff are always friendly and nothing is ever to much trouble. We recently stayed in East Wittering and chose to eat at the Boulevard throughout our stay. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I stopped in here this morning on recommendation from the hosts of a family whose pet I’m looking after… glad I did! My little kiddies English Breakfast with a hot beverage of choice for £5.50 was delightful, and my server was really friendly and attentive!! Will certainly come in again while I’m here.

A wonderful brunch of smoked salmon, poached eggs, avocado and granary toast. All washed down with my favourite brew! Just love the family atmosphere here at the Boulevard. Home from home. <><

From the ages of 3 to 8 years old, my parents used to take me to East Wittering every summer for our holidays. We used to eat at The Boulevard every day. The food was always amazing, the portions were always very generous, the staff were always lovely and the prices were always fantastic...... roll forward to when I visited a couple of weeks ago for the first time after 36 years..... to not only find that very little has changed, but that it is now run by the son and daughter of the original owners! You absolutely must try the food and hospitality here on your next visit ❤️

A little walk from Bracks to West Wittering with a mid way stop for breakfast at The Boulevard. We both had the full cooked breakfast, which at £7.50 includes a drink. Wonderful value, fast friendly service with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend 👌

Every time we come down here this restaurant never ever disappoints Real good food! Good for kids aswell After trying a few restaurants around here over the years Hands down! This place is the best! Staff are also really friendly (Big portions!) Have never left with an empty belly!

This place was absolutely heaving. As a table was vacated, there was another group ready to sit down. Not surprising really as the food was superb and the portions were huge. Great service and a real buzz about the place. They have some outside seating and a cheaper seniors menu. The fishcakes were the best I've ever had and the portion of Pavlova my daughter had was actually larger than her head. Even the included coffee was a Latte. Give it a try.

Big plates of food for reasonable money it’s a must

Went in today with the family & had BBQ chicken lasagne... It was amazing!! By far my favorite restaurant. We live an hour away & happily travel for a nice lunch out :)
