Extremely good menus and food. Our strollers group of 18 persons was catered for efficiently and swiftly, although one of the group got more than they ordered in their salad (a caterpillar). Lovely garden where my wife and I ate our meal because it was very hot inside on one of the hottest days of 2
Absolutely fantastic. Amazing service, amazing food, friendly staff. We've been three times now and it is consistently great each time. We went today and I accidentally chocked on some of my food and the waitress was quick to bring me a glass of water without us even asking. We will definitely be re
First visit here was for a Sunday carvery which was really good, and the latest was for their normal dinner menu mid-week meeting up with family. Extensive menu, and all 5 of us enjoyed our meals which were of a high standard and good portion sizes. Staff are attentive and friendly and we had a very
An excellent lunchtime experience. A welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff backed up with exceptional pub food. I can highly recommend the lamb burger, and the pizzas are superb - the base and tomato sauce win it!!! The beer was well kept and tasted good, plus they have a food hygiene rating of
Beautiful little country pub! I had a drink there with my sister today, next time we’ll be having lunch! The bar staff were absolutely lovely, they not only gave us a warm welcome, but also my dog who got a biscuit! Really really lovely place xx
Went for Sunday roast. First time we have visited the pub, it is decorated nicely. It is clean and has a lovely garden. The roast was great and you could have as many servings of veg and gravy (a nice touch). We will return
Good food but rather short-staffed. Young lady impressed by getting food orders from tables first but this did lead to delays in drinks. A sign of the times in catering these days. Food itself was good and prices reasonable.
Thank you for a delicious meal! I always appreciate gluten free options & there were so many. As a newbie campervanner finding somewhere safe, on the flat in a beautiful location was a bonus.
Fantastic staff and service however I would question the portion sizes for the price. Also, a little disappointed with the side dishes on Sunday - roasted vegetables don't really go with pie and chips! Plus I don't eat cheese so the other veg options weren't of use.
Fantastic evening meal with the family. The service was perfect, which isn't something you can say very often these days. Food, beer and wine all excellent and a very cool contained pub garden. We stayed the night in their car park in our campervan on route to Cornwall. Brilliant and thoroughly reco
First official night of our ne full time van life. Made to feel really welcome by the hosts and a lovely meal. Great park up for the night.
Just had a baguette for lunch which was very nice, losing 1 star cos I fancied a desert but £8 for profiteroles is too much, dearer than the lunch. I'm going back again to try the steak
Very attentive staff, dog friendly, Very inviting surroundings, fantastic food. Parking could be tight, they ran out of Fullers London Pride.
We went to this lovely pub/restaurant for the first time, but it won’t be our last. The food was excellent and the service was the same.
We had the most wonderful meal here this evening. The staff were attentive from the start, the atmosphere was warm and genuinely lovely, and they really welcome dogs! The food we ordered was all really delicious; I can honestly say it was the best vegetarian burger I have eaten out in a very long ti
A good traditional pub with good quality food with a reasonable range of craft ales, beers and soft drinks. Staff welcome you as you go to the bar even if they are currently serving. Food is via table service and would recommend you pre book so not to be disappointed during busy weekend times. The m
Great menu and friendly staff combine that with a cosy setting and you have the makings of a great pub. Give it a crack!
Food was good old traditional pub grub, definitely going back again.
