An absolutely delightful traditional pub with super friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for me and my family. A lovely little toy area which kept my 5 year old occupied who also managed to find some toys for my 9 month old. We went in really to feed my baby and have a warm drink but after looking at the menu decided we just had to eat there as the menu sounded delicious and we weren’t disappointed. I had chilli con carne with orzo pasta which was so tasty, very rustic and a decent portion size. My mum had fish and chips which came with peas and tartare sauce. Mum was delighted with her meal, the fish was enormous and freshly cooked and the chips were home made chunky chips, in my opinion, the best chips! And finally my 5 year old had a children’s burger and chips which again was homemade and delicious, obviously I had to taste to make sure it was ok ;). I would definitely recommend this pub and we are new to the area so am so happy to have found such a little gem of a pub. In fact, we’re going back this Sunday for a roast dinner and can’t wait.

We had a lovely meal at the three horse shoes last Friday. I had the fish pie which was delicious. We always go there if we want something a little bit more special than the usually pub grub! Lovely friendly atmosphere as well. Highly recommend the three horse shoes .

Extremely good menus and food. Our strollers group of 18 persons was catered for efficiently and swiftly, although one of the group got more than they ordered in their salad (a caterpillar). Lovely garden where my wife and I ate our meal because it was very hot inside on one of the hottest days of 2023. This is a Fullers pub so not much choice of ales, but the Seafarers ale went down well.

Absolutely fantastic. Amazing service, amazing food, friendly staff. We've been three times now and it is consistently great each time. We went today and I accidentally chocked on some of my food and the waitress was quick to bring me a glass of water without us even asking. We will definitely be repeat customers. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

First visit here was for a Sunday carvery which was really good, and the latest was for their normal dinner menu mid-week meeting up with family. Extensive menu, and all 5 of us enjoyed our meals which were of a high standard and good portion sizes. Staff are attentive and friendly and we had a very pleasant evening. It was busy and glad that I had booked our table, so would recommend booking in advance.

An excellent lunchtime experience. A welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff backed up with exceptional pub food. I can highly recommend the lamb burger, and the pizzas are superb - the base and tomato sauce win it!!! The beer was well kept and tasted good, plus they have a food hygiene rating of 5! Go and enjoy people!

Beautiful little country pub! I had a drink there with my sister today, next time we’ll be having lunch! The bar staff were absolutely lovely, they not only gave us a warm welcome, but also my dog who got a biscuit! Really really lovely place xx

Went for Sunday roast. First time we have visited the pub, it is decorated nicely. It is clean and has a lovely garden. The roast was great and you could have as many servings of veg and gravy (a nice touch). We will return

Good food but rather short-staffed. Young lady impressed by getting food orders from tables first but this did lead to delays in drinks. A sign of the times in catering these days. Food itself was good and prices reasonable.

Thank you for a delicious meal! I always appreciate gluten free options & there were so many. As a newbie campervanner finding somewhere safe, on the flat in a beautiful location was a bonus.

Fantastic staff and service however I would question the portion sizes for the price. Also, a little disappointed with the side dishes on Sunday - roasted vegetables don't really go with pie and chips! Plus I don't eat cheese so the other veg options weren't of use.

Fantastic evening meal with the family. The service was perfect, which isn't something you can say very often these days. Food, beer and wine all excellent and a very cool contained pub garden. We stayed the night in their car park in our campervan on route to Cornwall. Brilliant and thoroughly recommended.
