Made a point of going back for there delicious food. Top tip ask for a plate when ordering your burger as they come in small what think of as vegetable serving sizes things that make eating their beautifully tasty food difficult.
Well worth the visit.
Staff are also excellent.
Really tasty food that you could sort of do healthy (I had a quinoa and beetroot burger). My daughter had the tenderest chicken dippers ever. Food tasty and pretty great VFM. Serving staff really great. They asked if we'd booked when we went in but it soon became apparent why!!!
One of the best, if not THE BEST burger restaurant in Eastbourne! You will not be disappointed as a lot of thought and care goes into preparing the juicy, tasty burgers.
Amazing burgers! Cozy burger shack with the option to customise your burgers as you want with delicious fries and mouth watering beer on tap. Im so glad I found this place nearby. Cant fault anything.

When we first moved to Eastbourne was so glad to find old Dave's. Been going there on and off for 3 almost 4 years and in that time it has just got better.
Always found initially that the parties weren't seasoned, but on my more recent visits they season them well and I think are using an aged bee
Coming back after Old Dave's opening, the food quality has greatly improved, the flavour is great, the fries and the Seasoning is fantastic!
Pleasant staff, excellent range of combinations for burgers, interior decoration is interesting and rugged. Select Bottomless soft drinks were a boon! The menu was a little confusing at first, but the staff helped me out with it! Over all a nice experience.
We are regular customers at Old Dave's & we love it! We recently got married and had our wedding meal here. The staff were amazing! So accommodating and helpful with everything. We couldn't ask for more. Plus, the burgers are the best burgers we've ever had!
The food was great: had the chicken burger and my partner had the mushroom burger. The dips went really well with the fries: we tried BBQ and house. I preferred the house fries as BBQ made them a bit too dry for me. Great selection of drinks. The only thing not making it 5 stars for me is the decor
Always an excellent venue. Food is great and the price isn't too bad for it. You can't book, which makes it a bit of a pain some nights, but we usually go during the day anyway as it is quieter and the children love it here. Have been here twice and both times the burgers have been amazing!! Ive had a couple of the veggie options and my hubby has had a beef option each time. Sides are pretty nice and the kids menu does the trick too.

Took my partner here for a burger, the service was good but the it probably would have been quicker to chase down and butcher the cow myself and make my own burger bun from scratch. Good home made burgers served in an intimate and friendly setting. Staff are great! They offer a range of locally sourced beers as well. The only fly in the ointment is the Dewdrop Inn just up the road which to my mind serves even better burgers. My wife begs to differ though so you should try both,
Excellent. Staff are tentative and friendly, BGM is low key, building is clean and welcoming, food is first class at sensible prices.
One downer is the only option for cheese is blue which I personally loathe.
