Took my partner here for a burger, the service was good but the it probably would have been quicker to chase down and butcher the cow myself and make my own burger bun from scratch. We waited around 40 minutes for our food and we were two of 5 people in the restaurant. Ridiculous. When it did finally arrive, us on the edge of starvation by this point, it was very good.

Pleasant staff, excellent range of combinations for burgers, interior decoration is interesting and rugged. Select Bottomless soft drinks were a boon! The menu was a little confusing at first, but the staff helped me out with it! Over all a nice experience.

Best burger I’ve ever had !! - Husband booked a table for our anniversary, We were immediately welcomed, congratulated & offered a free drink as anniversary gift. Staff were super friendly and the food was amazing!!! First time visiting Eastbourne, staff even took their time suggesting places we could go as a couple. I’m very impressed and would 100% recommend any burger lovers out there to visit this restaurant at least once! Thank you so much to the staff, you can count on us visiting often in the future!

Really tasty food that you could sort of do healthy (I had a quinoa and beetroot burger). My daughter had the tenderest chicken dippers ever. Food tasty and pretty great VFM. Serving staff really great. They asked if we'd booked when we went in but it soon became apparent why!!!

Excellent. Staff are tentative and friendly, BGM is low key, building is clean and welcoming, food is first class at sensible prices.
One downer is the only option for cheese is blue which I personally loathe.
Update: just been in again today bringing a friend to find a new menu. Had the devil's breath and anyone who likes hot food without losing the taste will love this burger but be warned....... it's hotter than Katy Perry in a swimsuit. 10/10 again.

Made a point of going back for there delicious food. Top tip ask for a plate when ordering your burger as they come in small what think of as vegetable serving sizes things that make eating their beautifully tasty food difficult.
Well worth the visit.
Staff are also excellent.

We are regular customers at Old Dave's & we love it! We recently got married and had our wedding meal here. The staff were amazing! So accommodating and helpful with everything. We couldn't ask for more. Plus, the burgers are the best burgers we've ever had!
