I visited St.Wilfrid's hospice this morning for the first time.I went as a priest visiting a parishioner. I just wanted to say the gentleman on the welcome station was so very welcoming and the lady that guided me to the room I wanted was charming. What a wonderful atmosphere these people create.
So very friendly here, the staff are wonderful and always ready to help. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced, a nice little shop with lots of items to be sold, altogether it's well worth a visit
Nice and quiet and peaceful when having coffee ☕ roast dinner on Sunday well cooked and fresh.
Lovely gardens, cafe and staff. Wall of dark wallpaper with dark flowers I wasnt keen on in the room. More airing and natural light always good. Maybe steam clean so less cleaning product smell, the Montifore has the nicest cleaning product smell I've experienced :D Wilfrids still smells a thousand

Great helpful knowledgeable staff thankyou
To those who spend time criticising this Charity, you would be better off offering your services and helping out. Criticism is easy, care requires effort.
The people at St. Wilfrids were wonderful helping my wife Nicky through her last few days - she had been so frightened of spending those last days in a n anonymous hospital bed and I was allowed a camp bed by her side for those last hours making things as good for her as could possibly be in the cir
